We hear your cry and we are standing with you right now in prayer, lifting you up together before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus. We know how frightening it is to suffer with painful inflammation and to worry about your eyesight and your safety, and we want you to know you are not alone. We are asking God to surround you with His peace and healing presence through this week and beyond.
We are reminded of what Scripture tells us about our God as our healer and protector. He is the One who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:3 and who promises But I will restore you to health and heal you of your wounds in Jeremiah 30:17. He says Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness in Isaiah 41:10. And we cling to the truth that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self control in 2 Timothy 1:7. When fear rises up we can cast all our anxiety on him, because he cares for us in 1 Peter 5:7 and we can know that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty in Psalm 91:1.
We also want to gently share something important with you. You cried out to God, which is good and right, but we come to God only through Jesus Christ. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. It is by putting our faith in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we have access to God and assurance of His love and healing. If you have not already, we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus and trust Him as your Savior, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved in Romans 10:9.
So together we pray for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this dear one who is suffering with inflammation and fear. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon their body and to bring complete and lasting healing according to Your will. Calm the inflammation, ease the pain, and restore health. We ask You to protect their eyesight and let no harm come to them. Cover them with Your wings and keep them safe through this week and in the days to come. Guard them from all evil and let Your perfect peace guard their heart and mind. We rebuke the spirit of fear that is tormenting them and we ask You to replace it with Your power, love and sound mind. Help them to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let their requests be made known to You in Philippians 4:6-7. Give wisdom to any doctors or treatment they may seek and guide them to the right help. Above all let them feel Your nearness and know that You are holding them fast. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer. Amen.
We encourage you to keep bringing every worry to the Lord in Jesus name, to rest in His promises day by day, and to seek wise medical care as God often works through physicians to bring healing. We are continuing to pray that the Lord will keep you safe, heal you completely, protect your eyesight, and fill you with His peace that passes all understanding as you walk through this week in His care.
