Dear God, I am suffering from really bad inflammation. I am suffering. I am asking you to heal me completely & permenently from it. I am asking you to protect my eyesight. I am asking you not to let any harm come to me. I am asking you to protect me & keep me safe. I am asking you to let me make it through this week safely. I am very scared. Protect me, oh Lord, heal me oh Lord, please, I am begging you. AMEN.

We hear your cry and we are joining with you in prayer before our Heavenly Father, for you are suffering and very scared and we want to lift you up together in Jesus' name.

We are moved by your honest plea for healing from this painful inflammation, for protection over your eyesight, and for safety through this week. The Lord sees your suffering and He is close to those who are hurting. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us to praise Yahweh, who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases. He is the Lord who heals us, as He declares in Exodus 15:26, I am Yahweh who heals you.

We also hear your fear, and we want to encourage you that God does not want you to live in fear. Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. When anxiety rises, Philippians 4:6-7 invites us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We also want to gently share something important we noticed in your prayer. You cried out to God, which is good, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We share this in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To come to God we must believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus today, and to pray in His name, for that is the name that gives us boldness to enter God’s presence.

We also encourage you while you are trusting God for healing to continue to seek wise medical care, for God often works through the hands of physicians and we should steward the body He has given us.

Let us pray together for you.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is suffering from severe inflammation and fear. Lord, You see the pain and the worry about eyesight and safety. We ask for Your healing touch upon this body. Lay Your hand upon the inflammation and command it to be healed completely and permanently according to Your will. Protect these eyes, Lord, and let no harm come. We ask that You guard and keep this dear one safe through this week and in the days to come. Psalm 91:1-2 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Be that refuge and fortress now. Cast out all fear and fill this heart with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen faith and remind this dear one that You are near, that You hear, and that You care. Lead to the right care and give wisdom to doctors if needed. Above all, draw this dear one closer to Jesus, that they may know the full assurance of salvation and the comfort of praying in His name. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. Amen.

We hear how much pain and fear you are carrying right now. Suffering with bad inflammation and worrying about your eyesight while just trying to get safely through this week is a heavy burden, and it makes sense you feel very scared. We have heard your cries for healing and protection.

We are praying for you and standing with you. When pain lingers it can leave anyone feeling fragile and vulnerable, and it is hard to feel steady when your body does not feel safe. God sees you in this suffering and hears you as you beg Him for help. You do not have to carry this alone.

Alongside prayer, please reach out soon to a medical professional about the inflammation and your concern for your eyesight. If you have a primary care doctor or eye clinic, contacting them promptly is an important next step so you can be evaluated and guided in person. It can also help to let a trusted family member, friend, or pastor know how you are feeling this week so someone near you can support you and help you get care if you need it.

Father, we bring our friend before You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your mercy, for Your healing hand upon their body, for protection over their eyesight and for safety in the days ahead. Calm their fear with Your nearness, give wisdom to those who care for them, and keep them in Your loving care. Amen.

Your cry in suffering and fear has been heard, and we lift you before the throne of grace with tender compassion. The Lord knows your pain, your inflammation, your anxiety for your eyesight and your safety, and He hears the trembling voice that says, I am very scared.

Hear what the Lord says to such a fearful heart, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear not, says Jesus Himself to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. It is disobedience to remain in fear when the Lord has so often planted this promise in His garden, Fear not, I will help you, Fear not, I have redeemed you. Fear is weakening and dishonors God, for it doubts the arm which piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. Labor then to cast your fear upon Him, for perfect love casts out fear, and He is near to keep you.

There is healing power in Jesus Christ, and that abundantly. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves, the little things about Him, are full of healing virtue. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showing that pardon and healing are in happy conjunction in His hand. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We very speedily care for bodily diseases and rightly seek the physician, for they urge us to seek help, yet above all we look to the heavenly Physician who binds up the broken heart and heals the wounded body according to His wise and merciful will.

We pray for you now.

O Lord, our God and Father, look in mercy upon this suffering one who is afflicted with inflammation and sore distress. Lay Your healing hand upon this body, ease the pain, cool the burning, and if it be Your gracious will, heal completely and permanently, for with You nothing is impossible. Protect the eyesight which You have given, preserve it from harm, and keep this dear one safe from all evil. Thou art our keeper and our shield. Let no harm come near that Your hand does not permit for good, and grant grace to make it through this week safely, day by day, hour by hour. Speak peace to this fearful heart, and let Your perfect love cast out tormenting fear. Give quiet trust in Your promised strength, that this soul may not fear though weakness is felt, for Thou hast said, Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord.

We ask also that as You show mercy to the body, You would give yet greater mercy to the soul, that pardon and healing may come together through faith in Jesus Christ, who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows. Draw this heart to rest in Him alone for salvation, and let the healing that comes from His cross be known within.

We leave you in the hands of that great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face to shine upon you and give you peace through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
