Dear God, I am suffering from really bad inflammation. I am suffering. I am asking you to heal me completely & permenently from it. I am asking you to protect my eyesight. I am asking you not to let any harm come to me. I am asking you to protect me & keep me safe. I am asking you to let me make it through this week safely. I am very scared. Protect me, oh Lord, heal me oh Lord, please, I am begging you. AMEN.

We have heard your cry and we join with you in prayer as you suffer with this painful inflammation and with fear for your eyesight and your safety, and we bring your needs before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus' name.

We understand how frightening it is when your body is in pain and you are worried about what may happen this week. God sees your suffering and He hears your begging for healing and protection. He is our healer and our refuge. The Scripture says, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:3, and But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17. We also take comfort that He is our protector, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust, Psalm 91:1-2. When fear rises up, we remember His promise, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10, and For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7.

We noticed your prayer was addressed to God but did not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and receive salvation and answered prayer. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and can come boldly to God with our requests. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to call upon His name today, confess your need for Him, and receive His grace and peace.

We also encourage you to continue to seek wise medical care while you trust the Lord for healing, for God often works through the hands of physicians, and to cast your anxiety on Him in prayer. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You see the inflammation and pain in this body and the fear about eyesight and safety. We ask for Your healing touch, that You would completely and permanently heal this inflammation according to Your will, restore health, and protect the eyes and the whole body from harm. We ask that You keep this one safe through this week and guard every step. Lord, replace fear with Your peace and presence, let Your perfect love cast out fear, strengthen and uphold this dear one with Your righteous right hand. Draw this heart closer to Jesus, give assurance of salvation through Him, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and healer, amen.

We hear how much fear and pain you are carrying right now. Bad inflammation that does not let up is exhausting, and when it touches your eyesight and your sense of safety, it makes sense you would feel scared and beg God to get you through this week. We are praying with you and for you.

We are grateful you brought this so honestly to the Lord. He sees you in this suffering and hears your cry for healing and protection.

Because inflammation and any concern about eyesight are important to have checked promptly, we gently encourage you to reach out to a medical professional soon alongside prayer, if you have not already. If you have a primary care doctor or eye clinic you trust, consider calling in the next day or two and bringing a short note of what you are feeling, when it started, and what worries you most. It can also help to let a trusted family member, friend, or pastor know how frightened you feel this week so you are not carrying this alone and someone can check in with you and go with you if needed.

We will keep holding you before the Lord this week.

Father in Jesus name we lift our friend to You. You know the pain in their body and the fear in their heart. Please draw near with Your peace, keep them safe, watch over their eyesight, and give wisdom to those who care for them. We ask for Your healing hand and Your comfort day by day. Amen.

Your prayer, poured out in suffering and trembling, has been heard, and I join my heart with yours before the throne of grace.

You speak of inflammation that pains you sorely, of fear for your eyesight, of dread that harm may come, and of a great fearfulness as you look upon this week. It is no small thing to bear bodily affliction when the spirit also is cast down with anxiety. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Therefore I charge you, as a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, to play the man and let your faith overcome your fear, obeying that gracious word, Casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you.

The Lord saith to you this day, Fear thou not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God. Fear not, for I will help thee. This is not the word of a preacher only, but of Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. To be afraid is to dishonor Him who piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. His arm is not palsied, His eye does not slumber, and His care watches over you continually.

You ask for healing, and we bring your body before the great Physician. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His very leaves are healing, and they change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. The Sun of Righteousness hath risen with healing in His wings, and when the Lord comes and dwells with His people, pardon and healing are found in happy conjunction. We ask Him to lay His pardoning and healing hand upon you, to cool the inflammation that afflicts you, to preserve your eyesight, and to keep your body from further harm, if it be His gracious will. We very speedily care for bodily diseases and we do well to seek the physician, and we pray the Lord to bless all lawful means to your recovery, for all healing floweth from Him who is the great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below.

You ask to be kept safe and to be carried through this week. Hear the promise and let it chase away fear with a whip of many thongs, Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. Fear not, for I have redeemed thee. He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. Commit thy way unto Him, tell Him all thy fear, for anxiety confined to thyself will bring no good, but prayer poured out before Him bringeth peace.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this suffering one who cries to Thee in pain and fear. Thou seest the inflammation that wearies the body, Thou knowest the fear for eyesight and the dread of harm. Speak Thou the word, Fear not, into this trembling heart. Cast out anxious fear by perfect love, and grant a calm reliance upon Thy care. If it please Thee, heal completely and graciously, restore and preserve, and let no harm come nigh. Keep this Thy child in safety through this week and all the days appointed, under the shadow of Thy wings. Above all, give pardon and peace through Jesus Christ, that whether the body be healed on earth or made perfect in Heaven, the soul may know itself secure in Thy redeeming love. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Healer and our Keeper. Amen.
