You do not need to use many words or impressive phrases to get His attention. A secret sigh of the soul, a quiet “Lord, help me,” or a silent “Thy will be done” reaches His ear just as surely as the longest prayer. The problem is never on God’s side; His ear is not heavy that it cannot hear. True prayer is not about informing Him but about trusting Him.
So rest in this: the Lord has accepted your silent offering. He sees what is hidden and knows the deepest desires of your spirit. Keep seeking His face, keep consenting to His work within you, and find joy in the quiet communion He welcomes. Be at peace, for a broken and contrite heart He will not despise, and a whispered “amen” from a trusting child moves the heart of your Father in heaven.
