Beloved of All
DEAR GOD, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE. AMEN. I AM SCARED. PLEASE LET NO HARM COME TO ME. AMEN.

We hear the fear in your heart, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your concerns before the throne of grace. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We rebuke every spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, seeking Your protection over our dear brother/sister in Christ. Lord, You are our shield and fortress, our deliverer in times of trouble (Psalm 18:2). We ask that You surround them with Your angels, that no harm or evil may come near them (Psalm 91:11). Calm their heart, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).

We also want to gently remind you that true safety and salvation are found in Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Him, we encourage you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and in Him, you will find eternal security and peace.

Father, we pray that You would strengthen their faith, that they may trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). May they find comfort in Your Word, knowing that You are their light and salvation, whom shall they fear? (Psalm 27:1).

We declare over them the promises of Your Word: "The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned" (Psalm 34:22). May they rest in the shadow of the Almighty and find peace in Your presence (Psalm 91:1). In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for trusting us with this simple, honest cry. The repetition itself tells us how heavy this fear feels, and we hear it.

Fear can make everything inside us feel exposed and fragile. It’s not a failure to be scared. Your prayer, “please keep me safe”, is exactly where faith holds on. We’re joining you in that plea, not because God needs convincing, but because we need to say it out loud with you.

Sometimes fear is stirred by a clear threat, and sometimes it grows in the dark without a name. Either way, you are not alone. When panic spikes, try grounding yourself in a small physical action: press your feet into the floor, feel the chair holding you, and slowly name one or two things you can see. Then speak your fear plainly to God again, just as you did here. He is not put off by repetition.

If there’s someone safe you can tell, a friend, family member, or someone from your church, don’t carry this by yourself. A voice next to you can help break fear’s grip.

Father, this person is scared. They have asked You for safety again and again. You do not despise that. We ask with them now: surround them with Your protection, not only from whatever threatens, but from the terror itself. Let a deep quiet settle in their heart, a sense that they are held. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Your soul cries out in its trembling, and the Lord has given you the very word for such an hour: “Fear not, thou worm Jacob; I will help thee, saith the Lord.” Why should you fear? This fear dishonors God; it weakens your hands and clouds your faith. He who piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth, shall His arm fail you? You say, “I am scared,” but listen to Him who whispers to His poor, fallen servant, “Fear not.” It is Jesus Himself who bids you be of good cheer.

Your safety is not in the absence of trouble, but in the grip of your Savior. He is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before His presence with exceeding joy. Trust His promised strength. When fear rises, flee to His breast and read mercy written there. To be afraid of not being afraid is a holy watchfulness, but to let dread master you is to bind yourself in chains Christ has broken. He has delivered you from the bondage of fear; therefore rest in Him. Lay hold upon the promise: “I am with you; be not dismayed.” Let faith conquer fear, and let holy awe, born of forgiven sin, fill your heart instead. You are immortal till your work is done; no harm can touch your soul without your Father’s leave. So, fear not, child of the covenant; the Lord of hosts is your hiding place.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for safety reaches the throne of God, but consider well the nature of the safety you seek. If you are conscious of no evil, you shall suffer nothing dreadful. Only the one who does evil shall suffer. So examine your life. The fear you feel can be a tutor, leading you to cling to the righteousness that possesses the goods of all men in safety. For it is not the rich, nor those who avoid all danger, who are secure, but those who work out their own salvation with fear and trembling.

Do not let your fear drive you to empty human reasonings, which are a vessel without a pilot, certain to sink. Instead, unfurl the sails of faith upon the divine Scriptures. That is the safe vessel, with the Word of God as your Pilot, that brings you to the tranquil haven. Your prayer must not be merely for the body's safety, for what hope is there if you neglect the soul? The extortioners and those who grasp at security through worldly means lose all, but the one in love with righteousness possesses the goods of all in true safety.

Seek safety not by hiding from every shadow, but by following the One who says, “Let him take up his cross, and follow Me.” Be ever prepared against dangers, against death, against your departure hence. This is the hard saying, but the prize is to be where He is. Moses did not fear the wrath of the king because he endured as seeing Him who is Invisible. Likewise, you must not look only at the visible threats, for that makes a man a coward. Look to the Invisible Lord, who is present with those who do not separate themselves from Him. He who sees the light of this world thinks himself safe; how much more the one who is with Christ?

Guard yourself also from corrupting friendships that only love your table, not your virtue. When you retrench worldly comforts, such friends vanish. But those who associate with you for virtue’s sake remain and strengthen you. Do not hand your peace over to the unscrupulousness of others, or to your own undisciplined desires, which, like water in the wrong parts of the body, bring disease, not health. Keep the desire of safety within the bounds of becoming thought, content with what you have, and freed from all fear. The cause of your fear is pressing, but your journey is not unto destruction, but to the place where Christ’s power is made perfect.

So, let your punishment, your fear itself, become a discipline that draws down God’s grace. Purge out the old leaven of malice and wickedness, and keep the feast with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. In this is your ultimate safety. Commit all to God, present yourself again to each day’s duty, and trust not in the absence of storms, but in the Pilot who commands them. This is the anchor, sacred and sure, for the soul.
