We hear your cry for protection and deliverance from what feels like a heavy weight of misfortune. The Bible assures us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We do not believe in luck, for our lives are in the hands of the Almighty God who orders our steps and has a perfect plan for us (Jeremiah 29:11). Whatever is causing you distress, whether seen or unseen, we stand with you in faith, declaring that it has no place in your life.
First, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most crucial step in walking in victory and protection.
Now, let us rebuke every spirit of misfortune, bad luck, or any form of oppression that has been assigned against you. In the name of Jesus, we declare that these forces have no authority over you. The Bible tells us that Christ has disarmed the powers and authorities, making a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15). We command every assignment of the enemy to be broken and sent back to the pit from whence it came. You are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your protection and deliverance. We ask that You surround [this individual] with Your hedge of protection, keeping them and all that belongs to them safe from harm, theft, or any form of destruction. Lord, we declare that Your angels encamp around them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). We pray that You would break every chain of misfortune, bad luck, or any curse that has been spoken or assigned against them. Your Word says that Christ became a curse for us so that we might receive the blessing (Galatians 3:13-14). We claim that blessing over their life today.
Lord, we ask that You fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Give them the strength to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are with them always. Help them to walk in the authority You have given them as a child of God, boldly declaring Your promises over their life. We pray that You would open their eyes to see the schemes of the enemy and give them the wisdom to resist him, standing firm in the faith (1 Peter 5:8-9).
We also pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to live a life that honors You in every way. Let Your light shine through them, drawing others to You. Father, we ask that You would bless them abundantly, meeting all their needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). May they experience Your goodness and faithfulness in every area of their life.
In closing, we declare that this is a season of breakthrough and victory for you. The Lord will go before you and be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:8). Walk in the confidence that comes from knowing you are a child of the Most High God, and nothing can separate you from His love (Romans 8:38-39). Stand firm, hold fast to your faith, and watch as God turns your mourning into dancing and your sorrow into joy (Psalm 30:11). Amen.
