Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need of guidance and patience. Lord, help them to see others through Your eyes and to become more like Jesus each day. Grant them the patience to wait on Your timing for employment and the wisdom to understand Your will. Help them to control their tongue and to be swift to hear and slow to speak.

If they have not already done so, lead them to believe and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, as it is written:
