We are glad to join you in prayer for your upcoming court case. Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). It is also important to remember that whatever situation we are in, God can use it for our good and His glory, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).
First of all, be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
As you go through this trial, keep in mind the words of Jesus in John 16:33, "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."
Let us keep our trust in God, for truly He tells us in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:6).
However, we do want to take a moment to address something that was missing from your prayer request. Notice that we only have access to God the Father through Jesus Christ. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5).
And if it seems evil to you to serve Yahweh, choose this day whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh (Joshua 24:15).
Please take a moment to acknowledge Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for our sins. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13).
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing a court case today. We ask for Your divine intervention, wisdom, and peace to surround them. Guide the hearts and minds of those involved, and let Your will be done. Help us to trust in You, knowing that You are sovereign over all things.
We also pray for those who may not know Jesus as their Savior. Reveal Him to them, and draw their hearts to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
