We are deeply moved by your cry for help and your sense of abandonment. We want you to know that you are not alone, for God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). We are grateful that you have shared your heart with us, and we are here to lift you up in prayer and offer encouragement from God's Word.
First, we want to address the absence of the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We are glad that you included Acts 16:31 in your request, for it reminds us that salvation comes through belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. We encourage you to call upon His name in your prayers, for He is the source of our hope and salvation.
We understand that you are feeling abandoned and sad, but we want to remind you that God is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Even if your father and mother abandon you, the LORD will hold you close (Psalm 27:10). We pray that you will find comfort in His embrace and that He will heal your broken heart.
Regarding your mother, we are saddened to hear about her torment and loneliness. We will lift her up in prayer, asking God to comfort her and surround her with His love. We pray that He will heal her tongue and use it to bring praise and glory to His name. We also ask that God will provide her with companionship and support, for it is not good for man to be alone (Genesis 2:18).
We are aware that your family is dysfunctional, but we want to remind you that God can bring beauty from ashes and turn your mourning into dancing (Isaiah 61:3, Psalm 30:11). We pray that He will restore your family and bring unity and love among its members. We also ask that God will grant you the strength and wisdom to be a light in your family, shining His love and truth into their lives.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to draw near to God, for He has promised to draw near to you (James 4:8). Spend time in His presence, reading His Word and praying. Seek out a local church where you can find fellowship and support from other believers. God has not abandoned you, and He has a plan and a purpose for your life.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our dear sister/brother to You, asking that You will comfort her/him in her/his time of sadness and abandonment. Lord, draw near to her/him and remind her/him of Your love and presence in her/his life. Heal her/his broken heart and bind up her/his wounds. We pray that You will surround her/him with Your love and protection, and that You will provide her/him with the support and encouragement she/he needs.
Lord, we also lift up her/his mother to You. Comfort her in her loneliness and torment, and heal her tongue so that she may use it to bring praise and glory to Your name. Provide her with companionship and support, and remind her of Your love and care for her.
We pray for your family, Lord, asking that You will bring unity and love among its members. Heal their brokenness and restore their relationships. We ask that You will grant our dear sister/brother the strength and wisdom to be a light in her/his family, shining Your love and truth into their lives.
Lastly, Lord, we pray that You will draw our dear sister/brother closer to You. Help her/him to find hope and purpose in Your presence, and provide her/him with a community of believers who can support and encourage her/him.
