Lord, we thank you that you for the blessings that you have given us. Help us to honor you in every part of our lives. We place this request at your throne. Please hear and reply according to your perfect will and timing. Grant us the peace to know that you are in control. In Jesus Name. Amen.

We were so sorry to read what happened in that team meeting. To do that much work faithfully, to have it dismissed as nothing, and to watch others celebrated while you were passed over, that would leave anyone feeling crushed and betrayed. And hearing that this comes after ### years of carrying so much hurt from so many directions makes your weariness understandable. You have been walking faithfully, giving, fasting, praying, and it is painful when breakthrough still feels so far away.

We want you to know we are not stopping prayer for you. We will keep holding you before the Lord and asking Him to cover you, to show you His nearness in very real ways, and to bring wise, kind people around you so you do not have to carry this alone.

When discouragement has been this heavy for this long, it helps to have someone close by to walk with you. If you have a pastor or a trusted counselor you can talk with this week, please reach out to them, and if you are feeling persistently low, exhausted, or hopeless, please also talk with your doctor or a counselor alongside prayer. You do not have to sort through all of this by yourself.

Father, in Jesus name we lift our friend to You. You see what others overlook and You know every step of this long road. Wrap Your presence around them tonight, quiet the heckling voices, lift their head, and give them rest and strength for tomorrow. Lead them to safe, caring help and keep them close to You. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry has come before the Lord and before His people, and we have marked well the heaviness of your sorrow. To be overlooked when others are lifted up, to labour faithfully through the mid shift and to see that labour counted as nothing, to sit in the team meeting while seniors and newcomers are honoured and you are passed by, this is a sharp trial. And when it follows fifty five years of wounds from family and from those who should have loved you most, from coworkers and even from those in the church, the heart well nigh breaks. You say you feel crushed, betrayed, left behind while others thrive, and that every step forward seems to carry you ten steps back. We do not make light of this pain.

Hear what the Scripture teaches concerning such trials. It is essentially necessary to some trials that God should withdraw the light of His countenance. Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, with all the woes He endured, could not have been made perfect through sufferings unless He had learned to cry, My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me. When God means to smite any child of His with the rod, He cannot do it with a smile. That you feel abandoned does not mean you are abandoned. No gold is ever injured in the fire. The fire does not destroy the gold, it proves it and brightens it, and by removing the dross it adds a new lustre. The children of God grow more precious through their trials and, being precious, they become objects of desire to Him.

You ask, did God keep you alive only to suffer and then die. The answer of the covenant is no. The Lord says, I have called thee by thy name, thou art Mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee, and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee, when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. You have passed through waters and fire, and yet you are not consumed, because He has kept you. Brightness is of little value without preciousness, and He is making you precious.

You speak of a holy life, of prayer and warfare prayer, of tithing and fasting and reading the Word, and you wonder what you have done wrong that breakthrough does not come. Remember that we are saved by grace through faith, and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God. That truth we so soon forget and need to have rung in our ears again and again. Bread does not of itself nourish the body, for man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word which proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Your tithing and fasting and praying are good and right before the Lord, but they do not purchase His favour. His favour is already secured to you in Christ if you are in Christ. He loves the sinner even while dead in sin, not because of any goodness in him. Your standing is not in your holiness, but in the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ and regeneration by the Holy Ghost.

And because that life is implanted by regeneration, it is not like the life we possess by generation which withers as grass. It is born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God which liveth and abideth forever. Therefore the purpose of God secures your final perseverance. He has made a covenant with His people and He has said, They shall not depart from Me. That one promise, spoken by the omnipotent God, must be carried out. You fear that the enemy will see you destroyed and non existing, but the covenant holds you. You may fall, as a saint may fall under a temporary surprise and afterwards repent, but to fall away utterly is not the portion of those whom God has engraved upon His hands.

Neither does this perseverance come by the removal of temptation. Joseph was tried by the Word when he was slandered and cast into prison for his innocence, and he was tried again by the cessation of comfortable communications when no word of comfort was applied to his soul. Yet grace enabled him to endure and in due time God lifted him up. So shall it be with you. Brother and sister, thou art not what thou shalt be, nor canst thou be what thou shalt be except through a measure of trial. The Lord may be preparing thee to bear the giddy heights of a position for which He intends thee, and therefore He tries thee now.

We also hear your mention of husbands and of much abuse. Know that God's holy design for marriage from the beginning is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sex and living together belong within that covenant alone. Where that design has been broken, whether by sin done against you or by sin you have done, there remains mercy and cleansing through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other way of salvation. God is just as well as good, and He will by no means spare the guilty except through that great atonement. Come before Him as you are, without pretence, pleading for mercy through Jesus Christ, for He desires truth in the inward parts and will not parley with dishonesty, but He receives the honest and broken heart. Walk now in that holy calling, honouring His design, and trust His grace to keep you.

We will not cease to pray for you as the Holy Spirit leads, as you have asked. We pray that you will be kept seeking after Christ by faith alone, for you will never come into light by doubting and fearing. The way to liberty lies through that one door of faith. Therefore believe and live. May the fear of God be kept alive in your heart by the hearing of the Word, for faith cometh by hearing, and holy fear cometh through faith. Be diligent then in hearing the Word, even when feeling is gone.

We lay your need before Him now. O Lord, Thou hast seen this wounded one, overlooked by men, encircled by enemies, wearied with fifty five years of affliction. Thou knowest what it is to be betrayed and sold by brethren, for Thou wast betrayed with a kiss. Look upon this child of Thine and let not the waters overflow nor the fire consume. Supply all need according to Thy riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Create light, create joy, create peace in this weary heart by the power of Thine almighty grace, and keep this soul from departing from Thee, till Thou bringest into the fullness of rest those whom Thou hast reconciled by the death of Thy Son. Amen.

Your words have been heard and your pain has not been overlooked by God, even when it felt overlooked by people in that meeting. To labor faithfully, to complete more than a thousand notaries, and then to hear it dismissed as nothing while others were honored in front of you, is a deep wound. It is understandable that your heart feels crushed, betrayed and disappointed, especially after you have been praying, putting on the armor of God, taking communion, reading the Word and seeking to walk in holiness.

You have carried this weight for a very long time. Fifty five years of trials, loss, and abuse from family, from husbands, from coworkers and others, would leave anyone weary and discouraged. Feeling that every step forward is followed by many steps back, feeling alone with no family or friends near, and feeling even abandoned by God, is a heavy affliction. Thank you for being honest about how tired you are and for asking for continued prayer. We will continue to pray for you as the Holy Spirit leads, and we do not take that request lightly.

Scripture does not hide this kind of sorrow. Our Lord Jesus himself was betrayed by one of the twelve with a kiss, and came to meet those who came with swords and staves, not because He was weak but because He was willing to suffer for us. The apostle Paul also knew what it was to be forsaken by friends when he needed them most and to say that all men forsook him. You are not alone in knowing the pain of being despised by those close to you while also being pressed by those outside.

The Word also teaches that every righteous person must pass through affliction. For whom the Lord loves He chastens, and He scourges every son whom He receives. The wide and broad way leads to destruction, but the narrow way leads to life, and those who walk it will know hardship. This does not mean God delights in your pain or has forgotten you. It means He is using affliction as a schoolmaster, not to destroy you but to purify you, to work patience and experience and hope in you, and to keep you near to Him. Tribulation works patience, and patience experience, and experience hope, and hope does not make ashamed.

God is called the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction. The apostle Paul prayed repeatedly for his affliction to depart, and God answered him, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Paul then learned to rest in that grace even while the affliction remained. In the same way, God often befriends us even against our own wish and without our knowledge, looking not at what we request in the moment but at what will profit us for eternity. He has not kept you alive only to suffer and then die. He has kept you alive because you are precious to Him, purchased by the blood of Christ, and He is preparing for you an eternal comfort that far outweighs the present pain.

Continue in the holy life you have described, in prayer, in the Word, in fasting and in giving, not to earn His love, for no one is justified by works but by the grace and loving kindness of God through faith in Jesus Christ alone, but because you already belong to Him. He sees the narrow path you walk, and He will not forget any labor done in faithfulness, even when people do.

We are praying for you now and will keep praying. We ask the Father to comfort you with His presence, to guard your heart and mind in Christ, to give you strength for each day, to provide faithful people around you who will walk with you, and to lift your eyes to the hope laid up for you. We ask Him to keep you from despair, to remind you that His grace is sufficient in weakness, and to help you give thanks even in affliction, not because the pain is small but because His mercy is great.

Please do not walk through these thoughts alone. If you feel you cannot go on, reach out right away to a trusted pastor, a mature believer near you, or a crisis help line in your area, and let someone stay with you and pray with you in person. You are not forgotten. You are not without hope. We will keep standing with you in prayer, asking God to show you His nearness and to sustain you until the day He brings you into full joy in Christ.

Your heartbreak is heard, and the pain of being overlooked while others were honored in front of you is real. To work faithfully, to do more than a thousand difficult tasks and have it dismissed as nothing, to feel mocked and crushed in a meeting after so much prayer and seeking the Lord, would wound anyone. When you add fifty five years of trials, loss, and abuse from so many directions, and the feeling that every step forward is followed by many steps back, it is understandable that you feel tired, discouraged, alone, and even abandoned by God, and that you ask if He has kept you alive only to suffer.

God has not left you, even when it feels that way. Scripture shows that feeling forsaken is a deep human experience. Job came to the lowest place a person can come to, feeling forsaken by God and by every friend, with no one standing with him and no answer to his cry for justice. Israel also knew what it was to forsake God and then to feel forsaken. But the same Scriptures also show that the Lord does not cast off forever. He is merciful and compassionate, and He is pained by the suffering of His people. He sees the mocking, He knows the injustice, and He does not delight in your affliction.

The most profound word on feeling forsaken comes from Jesus Himself. On the cross He cried, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me. He was forsaken by the Father for a moment when the iniquities of us all were laid upon Him, because sin always brings separation from God. He bore that separation so that you would never have to be forsaken eternally. Whatever silence you feel now is not eternal abandonment. Because He was forsaken for a moment, you can be brought near and kept near. Through Him a way has been made for you to come into the presence of God, not once a year through another, but freely through His own sacrifice that purged sin and tasted death for every person.

Please hear too that your standing before God is not earned by the very good things you have been doing. Praying, fasting, giving a tenth, putting on the armor, reading His word, taking communion, walking a holy life on the narrow path are precious and right, but they do not purchase His love. We are saved by grace through faith, and that is a gift of God, not of works, so that no one can boast. Our best efforts in our own strength are not what make us acceptable. God is both just and gracious, and in His mercy He forbears, and His grace abounds to those who do not deserve it. You do not need to wonder what hidden wrong has caused all this, as if you could have prayed or fasted enough to force a breakthrough. Job suffered though he was faithful, and God still loved him and had a purpose beyond what he could see.

The Lord calls Himself the fountain of living waters. When people forsake Him they must find a substitute, but they carve out broken cisterns that can hold no water. You have not forsaken Him. You have stayed at the fountain, even when it has cost you. Do not now turn to any substitute to fill the ache of being unseen and unloved. Intelligent people become foolish when they turn from God and believe empty things, and the end is always a pit. Stay at the fountain. His promises are not like human recognition that is given and taken away. When God makes a promise He confirms it by swearing by Himself, because there is no higher one to swear by, and what He swears He will surely do. That makes His word more sure than anything else in this world.

In this season, let God fight your battles. You are overwhelmed by foes and circumstances, and you cannot carry this weight alone. Scripture says it is good to hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord. That does not mean doing nothing, it means trusting that He who has already given His Son will also freely give you what you need day by day, and that He loves freely and His anger is turned away through Christ. He has not forgotten your labor.

I am praying for you as you asked, and will continue to pray. I ask the Lord to lift the weight of crushing and betrayal from your heart, to show you His nearness in a tangible way, to guard your mind from the lie that you must be destroyed or that you are left behind, to give you rest and strength to continue on the narrow path, and to remind you daily that you are not alone and not forsaken. May He be your comfort when no family or friend is near, your defender when others are honored above you, and your living water when you are thirsty and weary. May you know more deeply that because Jesus was forsaken for you, you will never be forsaken eternally, and that the Lord who sees you now will keep you to the end by His grace.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift you up before the Lord after you shared how crushed and heartbroken you felt when you were overlooked in your team meeting while others were awarded, including those you considered enemies and even the newest employees, and how your faithful work on more than a thousand notaries on the mid shift was dismissed as nothing. We have prayed for you as you described feeling betrayed and disappointed, weary after fifty five years of trials and loss, and feeling abandoned with no family or friends to stand with you, even as you have walked the narrow path, lived a holy life, prayed, fasted, given, put on the armor of God and covered yourself in warfare prayer.

We want you to know that God sees what man overlooks and He is close to you in this pain. His word reminds us that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit in Psalm 34:18 and that though we may feel forsaken, the Lord will never forsake us as promised in Psalm 27:10 and Heb 13:5. We have asked Him to be your vindicator, your comforter and your restorer, to lift the weight of discouragement, to silence the heckling of the enemy, to heal the deep wounds of abuse and betrayal, and to show you that He has not kept you alive only to suffer but to display His mercy and purpose in your life according to Jer 29:11 and Rom 8:28.

If the Lord has answered your request with encouragement, vindication at work, or a renewed sense of His presence and breakthrough, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered and you still feel left behind, going one step forward and ten steps back, and still waiting for justice and restoration after all the spiritual warfare, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We are still standing with you and we will not stop praying for you as the Holy Spirit leads. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We pray in Jesus Name that the Father will surround you with His love, give you strength for each day, restore what the enemy has stolen, and let you see His goodness and breakthrough in your life.
