I recently discovered that my fiance has slowly fallen back to his alcohol addiction. He also has lost his desire to be near God. This has torn us apart and I do not know what God will decide for us. I am praying for him every day, but I know that prayer is powerful in numbers. Please pray that God will convict his heart and show him mercy. Pray that he will allow himself to let go of his own desires and let God be his desire. I know that he is struggling with what to make of this. I pray that he will let God be his ultimate influence and that he will open his eyes and ears to hear God's message for him.
