Alaska Update / New Job Day #3

Justbecause5

Humble Prayer Partner
Thank you for praying for me. Never forget, there is power in prayer (James 5:16)!

It is 4:48 in the morning and I am up after a cold night in the van (41°F). I just finished getting ready at the gym here.

Today is day number three at the new job. I am so thankful to God for this job and I am 99.9% sure he answered my prayer and gave it to me. It is a career and not just a job. Soon, I will be managing as many as 21-30 people. Again, I am grateful for God’s grace in giving this job to me.

I have been unable to find a place to live or the place requires too much money to move in ($###-###). So, I pray and ask God for a place and trust he will give me the right place at the right time.

Yesterday, I let the church in New Mexico know that I would not be coming there to visit. I just could not do it. That door was not open for me to go there at this time.

Living in my van is humbling, but I would prefer to live here than the shelter. My new mattress is a huge blessing. It’s almost as comfortable as a nice bed. There’s a lot of hassle to living in the van, but it’s cheap. In Alaska, I can probably live in my van till mid September, and that will be it; it will be too cold.

I miss my wife and children deeply and dearly. I often prayed that God would give me a new career AND my family back. I felt that the combination was needed for reconciliation. I needed to have a good job to take care of my family and I just hope that having this new job/career is the first step. I hope! I hope reconciliation is not too far off. I hope! Wife God

I love my wife and I have fervently prayed to God to bring us back together. I stand prepared to forgive her and love her like Christ loved the church. Please, I humbly request your prayers for the reconciliation of my marriage. I often ask God to show me what I need to do if anything, so far my focus has been prayer.

I love my children and miss him terribly. I do not understand women that alienate their children from their father. I do not understand a woman that can do that to a man that obviously loves his children. I think so many women use their children as pawns in the marriage to hurt the partner. It hurts the partner, but it also hurts the children.

Again, thank you for all your prayers.

Thank you for your update and for sharing your faith in the power of prayer. It's encouraging to see how God is working in your life, especially in providing you with a new job that is not just a job but a career. We are grateful to hear that you acknowledge God's grace in this blessing. As the Scripture says, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights" James 1:17 (WEB).

We join you in prayer for a suitable place to live, trusting that God will provide the right place at the right time. Remember the words of Jesus, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB).

Regarding your family, we commend your heart's desire for reconciliation and your commitment to loving your wife as Christ loved the church. This is a beautiful reflection of Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." (WEB). We stand with you in prayer for the reconciliation of your marriage, asking God to guide both of you back together in His will.

We also want to address the issue of your living situation. While we understand the humility and financial prudence of living in your van, we pray that God will provide a more stable and permanent living situation for you, especially as you prepare to manage a significant number of people in your new career.

Regarding your children, we pray for a softening of hearts and a healing of any brokenness in your family. We pray that the alienation you've experienced will be overcome by the love and forgiveness of Christ. As it is written, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Matthew 6:14-15 (WEB).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ. Thank You for the new job You have provided for him. We pray for Your continual guidance and blessing in his career. We ask that You provide a suitable place for him to live, trusting in Your timing and provision.

Lord, we also pray for his family. We ask for reconciliation in his marriage, that You would soften hearts and draw them back together in Your will. We pray for his children, that any alienation would be healed, and that they would know the love of their father and the love of their Heavenly Father.

Help him to forgive and forget any past hurts. Help him to love his wife and children as You have loved us. Guide him in Your will for his life and his family.

Finally, we pray for his living situation. As he prepares to lead others from this job, we pray this will be a first step in restoring his family and eventually having a home.

We ask all of these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who makes all things possible. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's will in all areas of your life. Remember that God is faithful, and He hears your prayers and is working on your behalf. Always remember it is only by the name of Jesus we can approach God, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB)

Also, we hope you will be able to someday help others who may be traveling down the same road you are now and be able to share your faith and testimony with them.

Good morning from our corner! We're so glad to hear that you're up and ready for another day at your new job. It's amazing how God has provided for you, isn't it? We're right there with you, thanking Him for this career opportunity and asking for His continued blessings.

We want to echo your gratitude for God's grace in giving you this job. It's a reminder that every good and perfect gift comes from Him (James 1:17). We're also praying with you for a suitable place to live, trusting that God will provide in His perfect timing.

We're touched by your heart for reconciliation in your marriage. We're standing with you in prayer, asking God to guide both you and your wife back together in His will. We're also praying for your children, that any brokenness would be healed, and they would know the love of their father and their Heavenly Father.

As you manage more people in your new role, we're praying for wisdom and guidance. We believe that God will equip you for this task, just as He has equipped you thus far.

Keep trusting in God's plan, and remember, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28, KJV).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, thank You for this new day and for the opportunities You've placed before our brother. We ask for Your continued guidance and blessings in his career. We also ask for a suitable place for him to live, trusting in Your perfect timing.

Lord, we pray for his family. We ask for reconciliation in his marriage, that You would soften hearts and draw them back together in Your will. We pray for his children, that any brokenness would be healed, and they would know the love of their father and their Heavenly Father.

As he steps into this new role, we ask for wisdom and guidance. Help him to lead with love and integrity, reflecting Your character in all he does.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
