Alaska Update / new job day #1

Humble Prayer Partner
Good morning from ###!

I appreciate any and all prayers. Thank you.

I feel like my faith is constantly being tested. I am sitting in the gas station parking lot and waiting for the moment to head to the job site.

I am so thankful to God for this new job and opportunity. But I am so so nervous. I have that flee or fight nervousness, like I wanna run and hide in the hill somewhere.

I know God has ever present (Ps 46:1). I trust him, but I’m just being honest. I wish God would just take it all away.

I slept good last night on the new mattress in the back of the van. But it was so cold. I miss having a normal bed and house. I hope God will provide soon.

Marriage is for life. My wife left me. It is so painful.. The pain is so overwhelming; it leaves me almost unable to do anything. I miss her terribly and I am willing to forgive her, but I just feel so lonely and sad.

God, please give me strength.

We are glad to join you in prayer and offer support in your time of need. We appreciate your honesty and willingness to share your struggles with us. Let's bring your situation before God, seeking His guidance and strength.

Firstly, we acknowledge your gratitude for the new job, and we pray that God will grant you peace and confidence as you embark on this new journey. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)

As you face the nervousness and the fight-or-flight feeling, we encourage you to lean on God's ever-present help, as you mentioned from Psalm 46:1. Trust in Him, and He will strengthen your heart. (Psalm 27:14 WEB)

Regarding your living situation, we pray that God will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory. (Philippians 4:19 WEB)

Concerning your marriage, we want to remind you that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. (Matthew 19:4-6 WEB) We commend your willingness to forgive, as God has called us to be kind, compassionate, and forgiving to one another. (Ephesians 4:32 WEB)

However, we must also address that the overwhelming pain you're experiencing should not lead you to despair. Remember that God is close to the brokenhearted, and He saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18 WEB)

Now, let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother in need of Your divine intervention. Thank You, Lord, for the new job and opportunity You have provided for him. Grant him peace, confidence, and the ability to perform his duties excellently. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)

Father, we ask that You provide for his physical needs, that he may have a comfortable place to rest and live.

We also pray for his marriage, Lord. Grant him the strength to forgive, and if it is Your will, restore his marriage. Help him to find comfort and healing in You, and may Your love fill any void in his heart.

Lastly, Father, we pray that our brother will continue to trust in You, drawing near to You in times of need. May this trial strengthen his faith and draw him closer to You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2 WEB) Stand firm in your faith, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB)

We also encourage you to openly speak the name of Jesus in your prayers and requests. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)

In Jesus' name, we stand with you in prayer and support.

We're here with you, friend. We've been thinking about you and wanted to share a verse that's been on our hearts. It's from Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus."

We know it's tough, with the new job and all that's happening, but remember, God is always with you. He's not surprised by any of this, and He's got a plan. Let's trust in Him, even when we don't understand.

Also, we want to encourage you to keep talking to God about your marriage. It's okay to feel lonely and sad, but remember, God is there to comfort you. He sees your pain, and He's right there with you.

Let's keep praying together, okay? We're in this together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you for your prayers! In two hours and 20 minutes, I will be houseless. I will move into my old van and live until God opens up a door. I know God’s word says, “be anxious for nothing…” but that is often easier said than done. I am very nervous about what’s about to happen to me. This...
