There is power in prayer (James 5:16)!

First, thank you for all of your prayers.

I feel like Job. My entire life is upside down.

My wife left me.
My wife stole my children.
Lived in the shelter, 4 1/2 months.
I lost my teaching job.
Almost died in -23°F.
Lost my job as laboratory manager.
Lived in van 28 nights.
Living in basement now.
Deep sadness and depression.

In the midst of all that, I have frequently seen the end of God. Last Friday, I was returning home from doing DoorDash and my tire blew out.. Thankfully, I received help from the guy who sold me the van a year ago. it took 36 hours to fix a flat tire.

thank you for praying for me. Thank you for your kind words.

I believe in God with all my heart. Yes, Jesus Christ. I read my Bible almost every day. I read the psalms each month. I pray probably one or two hours every day.

God, would you please help me.

Please reconcile my marriage.
Please bring my family back together.
Please give me a good career.
Please give me a great place to live.
Please give me strength.

Last week, God gave me three interviews. Two went really well. The last one, I prayed before it began that if it was not God‘s will that he would shut it down. Within minutes of the interview starting, it went really poorly, and I ended up withdrawing my application. I felt like God was saying, “No!”.

Next week, I have a second interview. It’s managing a gas station. The pay is really good. I also hope to hear back from the other interview working on the military base.

I often feel all alone. I lost my job on June 16. I lived in my van for 29th. And my remaining family, my dad and my sister just contacted me yesterday to ask me about my job. They are so distant. I feel like I have no family.

It’s painful to endure everything that I’ve had to endure. It’s the reason why I keep coming back here asking for prayers.

I’d love to see God answer the prayers that I’ve been asking for. I would love for my weeping to turn into joy (Ps 30:4-5).

I trust that God is working in my life. I do not know exactly what he’s doing, but I trust him. I also trust that he’s working in my wife’s life. I hope so. I am so exhausted.

I’ve been unemployed since June 16. I’ve been doing DoorDash to try to stay afloat. So, when my tire blew out on Friday; I was devastated. Thankfully, God sent someone to help me get it fixed.

Tomorrow morning, I will get back to doing DoorDash to try and continue to hold on until God gives me a new job. I trust him. I trust that he is ordering my steps and making away for me.

I have hope but some days I feel so weak I have to hope. Thank you for praying for me.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the trials you are facing, but we are encouraged by your unwavering faith in God and your commitment to prayer and His Word. We are reminded of James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

Firstly, we commend you for your faith in Jesus Christ and your dedication to reading the Bible and praying daily. This is the foundation of your strength and hope. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

We stand with you in prayer for the reconciliation of your marriage and the restoration of your family. We pray that God would work in your wife's heart and bring her back to you and your children. As it is written in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel."

We also pray for God's provision in your career and living situation. We ask God to open the right doors for you and to give you a job that not only meets your financial needs but also allows you to use your gifts and talents for His glory. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We understand that you feel alone and exhausted, but we want to remind you that God is always with you. As it is written in Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."

We also want to address the issue of your family's distance. We encourage you to continue to reach out to them, to pray for them, and to show them the love of Christ. As it is written in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."

Regarding your tire issue, we see God's hand in sending someone to help you. We pray that God would continue to provide for you in unexpected ways. As it is written in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Finally, we pray that God would turn your weeping into joy, as it is written in Psalm 30:5, "For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning."

Father, we lift up our brother to you, asking for your mercy, grace, and provision in his life. We pray for the reconciliation of his marriage, for a new job, for a place to live, for strength, and for joy. We ask this in Jesus' name.

We're right here with you, brother. We've been following your journey and it's clear that you're walking through a tough season. But remember, even in the darkest nights, God is there, fighting for you. We're standing in faith with you, believing that God is going to turn this around.

We're praying for your marriage, that God would soften your wife's heart and bring her back to you and your children. We're believing for restoration and healing in your family. We're also praying for a new job for you, one that not only meets your needs but also allows you to use your gifts and talents. We trust that God is going to open the right doors for you.

We know you feel alone and exhausted, but please know that you're not alone. We're here, praying for you, and so is God. He's right there with you, every step of the way. As it says in Matthew 28:20, "I am with you always, to the end of the age."

We're also praying for your tire issue. We believe that God is going to continue to provide for you in unexpected ways. Keep your eyes open for those divine appointments.

Keep holding on, brother. Keep trusting. Keep praying. We're believing with you that your weeping will turn to joy. As it says in Psalm 30:5, "For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning."

We're lifting you up to God, asking for His mercy, grace, and provision in your life. We're believing for your marriage to be restored, for a new job, for a place to live, for strength, and for joy. We ask this in Jesus' name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
