Humble Prayer Warrior
There is power in prayer (James 5:16)!

I need prayers, please.

August 2022 - my job in Alaska was complete. I secured a teaching position in Texas my sons and I went to Texas to start the job and set up our new home. My wife and daughter had tickets to go overseas to visit family.

After I left Alaska, my wife hired an attorney and her attorney convinced the court that I had stolen the boys and taking them across state lines. The judge gave her permission to go get them. She did while I was teach teaching. I have not seen them since. It has been so painful.

I pleaded with God to take me back to Alaska. In the summer of 2024, God answered that prayer. He gave me a teaching job and coaching job in Alaska near where I used to live so, on August 19, 2024, I flew first class for free from California to Alaska. I had no place to live in no car to drive.

The year that followed was incredibly difficult. My life closely mirrored Job. I live in the shelter for 4.5 months. I lost my teaching job one year ago today due to no fall of my own. I lived in my van for 28 nights. I almost died on December 29, 2024, when I got locked out of my van.

I have suffered in so many different ways. Homelessness, joblessness, instability and living in limbo. I’ve suffered from greatly from deep depression and sadness.

If spiritual warfare is going on; there has been a huge battle in my life. It’s like every dart force is against me in every way. In fact, I often pray that the angel of the Lord will camp around me. And pray that God will send every angel to help in this battle because I’m dying inside.

I preach the gospel for nearly 30 years. I’ve seen heartache and difficulties before that have brought me to my knees. I cannot believe I’m still alive, surely I would be dead by now. The pain has been so overwhelming at times that I can barely function.

Yes - one year ago today, I lost my teaching and coaching job due to no fault of mine. My basketball team was 6-1. It was the one joy of my life was spending time with my team and helping them improve.

I don’t understand why God has not helped me reconcile with my wife. I have not seen anything happen that would make me think it was about to be reconciled. I put my faith 1000% in God, in Christ yes, I have prayed in the name of Christ probably 1 million times.

I could write a book about the last year.

I am thankful to God though. Why?

I have been unemployed since June 16, but I have figured out how to make a full-time living doing gig work. It gives me a lot of flexibility in freedom.

My van broke two weeks ago and sat in the McDonald’s parking lot for a week. However, I just so happened. The rental cars were down to $20 a day; instead of $150 a day like they were in the summer.

Having a rental car action made my job easier than the old van that I was driving.

I’m guessing in total I’ve done about 3000 deliveries. Sometimes, I’m amazed at the dollar amount of the delivery.

I have seen incredible northern lights. I have seen probably 50 moose which is my favorite. I love seeing moose. In fact, I have asked God in prayer to let me see a moose and almost every time within 24 to 48 hours I see one.

I have seen incredible sunrises and sunsets and mountains… I’ve seen moose and caribou and foxes and porcupines just walking down the road. I love it so.

I have read the psalms probably 35 times since 2023. They are like a B12 shot to my soul. I read them a lot and think about them a lot.

But dear friends, I am weak. I’ve said so many tears. The Lord must have a full warehouse full of my tears only. Maybe two full warehouses….

I have prayed that God would make a way for me to see my family on Thanksgiving. I have prayed so many times for reconciliation that my heart has difficulty praying again and again I just I lose strength to pray sometimes.

I love my wife with all my heart. She has done some very bad things to me. Honestly, I don’t understand how she looks in the mirror and sees herself and is happy.

I’m sure her life is miserable to some degree. She is a single mom of three kids with no husband in her life and no father for the kids.

In this wicked country, 80% of divorces are initiated by women. That is really discussed what happens to men when women leave and destroy their families.

I need strength
I hope for reconciliation

Thank you for following my requests.

We come before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting you up in prayer as we witness the deep suffering and spiritual warfare you have endured. Your story echoes the trials of Job, yet like him, we trust that God is sovereign even in the midst of unimaginable pain. We are grateful that you have continued to seek the Lord through the Psalms and that He has sustained you in remarkable ways, even through gig work and the small joys of His creation like the northern lights and the moose you love. These are reminders that He has not abandoned you, even when the path feels unbearable.

First, we must address something critical: you mentioned praying for angels to camp around you and for God to send angels to fight your battles. While Scripture confirms that angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), our focus must always remain on the Lord Himself—not on angels—as our Deliverer. It is Jesus Christ who fights for us, who intercedes for us, and who has already won the victory over sin, death, and the schemes of the enemy. In Exodus 14:14, the Lord says, *"Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still."* And in Romans 8:31, we are assured, *"If God is for us, who can be against us?"* Let us fix our eyes on Him alone, for He is the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). There is no power in praying to angels, but there is infinite power in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we boldly approach the throne of grace.

We also notice that while you have prayed fervently, you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your request. This is vital, for Scripture declares that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). It is only through His name that we have access to God’s throne, and it is by His authority that we can stand against the enemy. We urge you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator and our Hope.

Now, let us turn to the devastation of your marriage and family. The pain of separation and betrayal is profound, and we grieve with you over the brokenness you have endured. Your love for your wife and children is evident, and we commend you for your commitment to reconciliation. Yet we must also speak truth in love: reconciliation requires repentance and a turning back to God’s design. Your wife’s actions—taking the children under false pretenses and initiating separation—are grievous sins against you and against God’s covenant of marriage. Scripture is clear that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16) and that marriage is a lifelong commitment, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). While we pray earnestly for restoration, we must also acknowledge that true reconciliation can only happen if both hearts are surrendered to the Lord.

We urge you to examine your own heart as well. Have you forgiven your wife for the wrongs she has committed against you? Unforgiveness can become a stronghold that hinders prayer and invites further spiritual attack. Jesus said, *"But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses"* (Matthew 6:15). Forgiveness does not mean excusing sin or pretending it didn’t happen; it means releasing the debt to God, who alone is the righteous Judge. This is a process, and it may require daily surrender, but it is essential for your spiritual health and your ability to move forward in God’s will.

We also sense a deep weariness in your spirit, a struggle to keep praying when answers seem delayed. Do not lose heart, brother. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, *"Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."* And in Luke 18:1, Jesus teaches us *"that we ought always to pray, and not give up."* The enemy wants you to stop praying, to believe that God has forgotten you. But God’s timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Keep crying out to Him, even when it feels like your prayers are hitting the ceiling. He hears you. He sees your tears. Psalm 56:8 says, *"You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book."* You are not forgotten.

As for your circumstances—homelessness, job loss, and the instability of the past year—we are reminded of Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:31-33: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your current provision through gig work is a testament to God’s faithfulness, even in the wilderness. He has not left you without resources, and we believe He will continue to provide as you seek Him first.

We also recognize the spiritual warfare you are facing. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* The enemy has sought to destroy you through isolation, depression, and the loss of what you hold dear. But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), and stand firm in the authority of Christ. Declare Scripture over your life, your marriage, and your family. Speak life where the enemy has spoken death.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who has endured such deep suffering and betrayal. Lord, You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13), and You have seen every tear he has cried, every sleepless night, every moment of despair. We ask You to wrap him in Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and to renew his strength as he waits on You (Isaiah 40:31).

Father, we pray for his marriage, which has been broken by sin and deception. Lord, You hate divorce, and You are a God of restoration. We ask that You would soften his wife’s heart and bring her to repentance. Convict her by Your Holy Spirit of the wrong she has done and draw her back to You and to her husband. If it is Your will, Lord, reconcile this marriage and restore this family. Let Your glory be displayed in their story. But even if reconciliation does not come, we pray that You would give our brother the grace to forgive, to release this burden to You, and to trust You with his future.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of depression and despair that has sought to overwhelm him. We declare that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5) and that You are his hope and his salvation (Psalm 62:5-6). Fill him afresh with Your Holy Spirit, and let him experience Your presence in a tangible way. Remind him that even in the valley of the shadow of death, You are with him (Psalm 23:4).

Father, we pray for provision and stability. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Open doors for employment that align with Your will for his life. Give him wisdom in his gig work, and let it be a temporary bridge to something even better. Provide him with safe housing, reliable transportation, and a community of believers who can support and encourage him.

We also pray for his children, Lord. Protect their hearts and minds from the trauma of this separation. Draw them to Yourself, and let them know the love of their heavenly Father even when their earthly family is broken. Reunite him with his sons and daughter, Lord, in Your perfect timing.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would strengthen him to continue praying, even when it feels futile. Remind him that prayer is not about changing Your mind but about aligning our hearts with Yours. Let him experience the power of praying in Jesus’ name, knowing that You hear and answer according to Your will.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You have sustained him through this storm and that You will continue to lead him into all truth. May he find his identity not in his circumstances but in You, his Redeemer. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Brother, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, not on the waves of your circumstances. The enemy has sought to destroy you, but God has preserved you for a purpose. You mentioned that you have preached the gospel for nearly 30 years—what a testimony of God’s faithfulness! Even in this season, He is using your suffering to refine you, to draw you closer to Himself, and to prepare you for what lies ahead.

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and community. Isolation is a tool of the enemy, but fellowship with other believers can be a source of strength and encouragement. If you are not already connected to a Bible-believing church in Alaska, we urge you to find one where you can be discipled, served, and held accountable.

Lastly, we leave you with these words from Psalm 34:18-19: *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Cling to this promise, brother. Your story is not over. God is still writing it, and He will have the final say. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep walking in obedience. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Dear friend,

We are here for you, standing with you in prayer and love. We've been moved by your story, your resilience, and your unwavering faith in God. Here's what we want to say to you:

1. **You are not alone**: We are here with you, lifting you up in prayer. Remember, even in the darkest valleys, God is always near (Psalm 34:18).

2. **Your pain is real, but your God is greater**: The suffering you've endured is immense, but our God is bigger still. He sees every tear, every sleepless night, and every moment of despair. Trust in His love and care for you (Psalm 56:8).

3. **Keep crying out to Him**: Even when it feels like your prayers are hitting the ceiling, keep crying out to God. He hears you, and He sees your tears. Keep trusting in His perfect timing and His unfailing love (Luke 18:1, Psalm 56:8).

4. **Forgiveness is a process, not a one-time event**: It's okay to forgive little by little, day by day. It's okay to ask God for strength to forgive. It's okay to feel the pain and to grieve. Just keep taking steps towards forgiveness, one day at a time (Ephesians 4:32).

5. **God is your provider**: He has sustained you thus far, and He will continue to provide. Trust in Him, and seek His Kingdom first (Matthew 6:31-33).

6. **Your story is not over**: God is still writing your story, and He will have the final say. Keep trusting in Him, keep praying, and keep walking in obedience. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

7. **You are loved**: You are deeply loved by God, and you are loved by us. We are here for you, cheering you on, and praying for you.

Keep fighting the good fight, dear friend. You are stronger than you think, braver than you seem, and loved more than you know. Keep trusting in God, and keep holding on to His promises. You will see His faithfulness in your life.

In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting you, your marriage, and your family before the Lord in these long and difficult days. Your story has weighed heavily on our hearts, and we have continued to intercede for you—pleading for God’s restoration, supernatural provision, and the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. The battles you’ve described are not unseen by our Heavenly Father, and we believe He is at work even in the silence, even in the waiting, even when the answers we long for seem delayed.

It has been several days since you shared your burden with us, and we want you to know we are still standing with you in prayer. If the Lord has moved in any way—whether through a glimmer of hope in reconciliation, a moment of unexpected peace, or even the smallest provision—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Testimonies of God’s faithfulness in the wilderness strengthen the body of Christ and remind us all that He is near, even in our darkest valleys.

If this trial persists and the weight feels as heavy as ever, we urge you not to carry it alone. Post your request again, and let us continue to storm the gates of heaven on your behalf. We will not grow weary in praying for your marriage, for your heart, for your sons, and for the supernatural intervention only God can bring. We are asking Him to renew your strength like the eagle’s, to surround you with His angels, and to make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray for divine appointments—whether through a word of encouragement, an open door, or a softened heart—that will remind you that He has not forgotten you.

Brother, we see how you have clung to the Psalms, how you have found moments of joy in God’s creation, and how you have trusted Him even when the pain feels unbearable. That is the mark of a man who, despite his weakness, is being held by the strength of Christ. We pray that the Lord will restore to you the joy of your salvation, that He will turn your mourning into dancing, and that He will redeem what the enemy has sought to destroy. You are not forgotten. Your tears are collected in His bottle, and one day, He will wipe them all away.

If reconciliation still feels impossible, we pray for the miraculous. If the road ahead seems unclear, we pray for divine clarity. If your heart is exhausted, we pray for fresh fire. And if the spiritual warfare rages on, we declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your shield, your very great reward, and your ever-present help in trouble.

We also lift up your wife and children, asking God to convict hearts, to bring repentance where it is needed, and to unite your family in His perfect timing. May He soften her heart toward you and toward Him, and may He protect your sons from the pain of this broken world.

Please know we are here, praying without ceasing. Update us when you can, and let us rejoice or weep with you as the Lord leads. May He bless you with His presence in ways you can tangibly feel, and may you sense His love surrounding you even now.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus we pray.
