Alaska / Psalms…

Justbecause5

Humble Prayer Warrior
There is power in prayer (James 5:16)!

A few minutes ago, I finished reading the Psalms for the month of August. Once again, it was a huge blessing.

I’ve read the Psalms each month this year and nearly 30 times since October 2023.

My life is upside down. I feel like those people that get stuck in a roller coaster and it stops and they are hanging with their arms falling down to the Earth. That’s me!

I love God with all my heart. Yes, Christ too. The last year has been an incredible challenge as I move back to Alaska in August 2024, hoping for the reconciliation of my family.

I love adventure, but I would prefer not to repeat what I have endured last year. I’ve had a lot of ups and downs, mainly downs. Often times, I have felt all alone. I think it’s the reason I have loved the psalm so much.

Thank you for your prayers on my behalf.

Reconciliation - I plead with God to take me back to Alaska, hoping that my family could be reconciled. I do believe God brought me here; however, I have not seen any sign of reconciliation yet. But I wait patiently!

Job - I moved to Alaska with the intent of teaching and coaching for the next 10-15 years. I lost that job on November 20 due to no fault of my own. Since then, I have lost another job, and then another job was promised to me which rescinded. In all of that, God has made provision. I need a good job that will last me many years.

Home - I moved to Alaska with no place to live and no car to drive. I lived in the shelter for 4.5 months and then an apartment and then I lived in my van for 28 nights. Now, I am in the basement of a $1 million house. The apartment that I thought was being safe for me was rented out underneath me and so I have no place to go. I need a home.

I have been able to keep my head above water through DoorDash. I am so thankful for that means of making money.

Jesus, please come back!

I am so exhausted from everything that I’ve been through. God, please help me.

It’s time to start the Psalms again!

Thank you for each and every prayer. Thank you for each and every kind word.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt cry and your unwavering devotion to reading and meditating on the Psalms, even amid such profound trials. Your love for God and Christ shines through your words, and we are encouraged by your perseverance in seeking Him through His Word. It is clear that you are clinging to Him in the storm, and that is a testimony of faith that honors Him. Let us first lift our voices together in prayer for you, for we know that our God is a God who hears, who sees, and who acts on behalf of His children.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is weary, exhausted, and feeling the weight of this season like a roller coaster that will not end. Lord, You have said in Your Word, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:17-18). Father, we ask that You draw near to him now. Comfort him with the knowledge that You are not distant, but intimately acquainted with every trial he faces. You collect his tears in a bottle (Psalm 56:8), and You are working all things together for his good, even when it feels like chaos.

Lord, we pray for **reconciliation** within his family. You are the God who restores, who heals broken relationships, and who turns hearts toward one another. We ask that You soften hearts, remove bitterness, and open doors for restoration. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind as he waits on You (Philippians 4:7). Remind him that Your timing is perfect, and though he waits patiently, You are not idle. *"Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh"* (Psalm 27:14).

Father, we ask for **provision in employment**. You are Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides. You have sustained him thus far through DoorDash and unexpected means, and we thank You for Your faithfulness. Now, Lord, open the door to a **stable, long-term job** that aligns with Your will for his life. Give him favor in the eyes of employers, and let this job be a place where he can thrive, serve others, and glorify You. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:4-5).

Lord, we pray for a **permanent home**. You have been his shelter in the storm, even when he had no physical roof over his head. Now, Father, provide a place of stability, safety, and rest. Let it be a home where he can find refreshment and renewed strength. *"Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower"* (Psalm 18:2). Be his high tower, Lord, and lead him to a dwelling place that reflects Your goodness.

Father, we also lift up his weariness. The past year has been a battle, and he is exhausted. Renew his strength, Lord, as only You can. *"He gives power to the weak. He increases strength to those who have no might. Even the youths faint and get weary, and the young men utterly fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:29-31). Breathe fresh wind into his spirit, Lord. Let him feel Your presence in a tangible way as he continues to seek You.

We also thank You, Father, for his love of Your Word. The Psalms have been his companion, his comfort, and his guide. We pray that as he reads them again this month, You would speak to him in new and powerful ways. Open his eyes to see the wonders of Your law (Psalm 119:18), and let Your truth be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105).

Lastly, Lord, we echo his cry: *"Come, Lord Jesus!"* (Revelation 22:20). We long for the day when all suffering will cease, when every tear will be wiped away, and when we will dwell in Your presence forever. Until that day, sustain our brother, surround him with Your peace, and let him know beyond a shadow of a doubt that You are with him.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, **Amen**.

---
Now, our brother, we want to encourage you with some truths from Scripture and offer some perspective as you walk through this season. You have mentioned feeling alone, and we want to remind you that you are *never* alone. Jesus Himself promised, *"I am with you always, even to the end of the age"* (Matthew 28:20). Even when it feels like no one understands, He does. The Psalms you love so dearly are filled with the raw, honest cries of David and others who felt abandoned, yet they continually turned to God as their refuge. You are in good company, and your honesty before the Lord is a beautiful act of worship.

The fact that you have read the Psalms nearly 30 times since October 2023 is a testament to your hunger for God. That hunger will not go unrewarded. Jesus said, *"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled"* (Matthew 5:6). Keep feasting on His Word, for it is your lifeline. It is no coincidence that Psalm 85, which you referenced, speaks of restoration and revival. Verse 6 asks, *"Won’t you revive us again, so that your people may rejoice in you?"* That is our prayer for you—that God would revive your spirit, restore your joy, and bring reconciliation and provision in ways only He can.

Regarding your desire for reconciliation with your family, we urge you to continue to pray fervently, but also to examine your own heart. Are there areas where you need to extend forgiveness, even if the other party has not asked for it? Unforgiveness can be a heavy burden, and Jesus calls us to release it (Matthew 6:14-15). Reconciliation is a two-way street, and while we pray for softened hearts on all sides, we also encourage you to walk in love and humility, trusting God to work in ways you cannot see.

As for your job and housing situation, we want to remind you that God is not limited by circumstances. He can provide a job where there seems to be none. He can open doors in the most unlikely places. Your story is a testament to that already—living in a shelter, then an apartment, then a van, and now the basement of a million-dollar home. That is *not* coincidence; that is the hand of God sustaining you. Keep trusting Him, even when the path seems unclear. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We also want to address the weariness you feel. It is okay to be exhausted. Jesus Himself, in His humanity, grew weary (John 4:6). But He also invites us, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30). Rest in Him. Take time to be still before the Lord (Psalm 46:10). You don’t have to carry this alone.

Lastly, we want to leave you with this promise from Psalm 85, the very chapter you referenced:
*"I will hear what God, Yahweh, will speak,
for he will speak peace to his people, his saints;
but let them not turn again to folly.
Surely his salvation is near those who fear him,
that glory may dwell in our land.
Mercy and truth meet together.
Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
Truth springs out of the earth.
Righteousness has looked down from heaven.
Yes, Yahweh will give that which is good.
Our land will yield its increase.
Righteousness goes before him,
And prepares the way for his steps"* (Psalm 85:8-13).

Hold onto that, brother. God *will* give that which is good. He is preparing the way, even now. Keep your eyes on Him, and let us continue to stand with you in prayer. You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. You are deeply loved by the King of kings, and He is working all things for your good and His glory. Stand firm, and watch what He will do. We are with you in this, and we will continue to lift you up before the throne of grace. Be encouraged—your breakthrough is coming.

Dear friend,

We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that your cries have not fallen on deaf ears. We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting you up before the throne of grace. Here's what we're praying for you today:

1. **Reconciliation**: We join you in pleading with God to take you back to ###, hoping for the reconciliation of your family. We believe that God brought you there for a purpose, and we trust that He will reveal His plans in His perfect timing. We ask that He soften hearts, remove bitterness, and open doors for restoration. We claim His promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14, that if His people who are called by His name will humble themselves and pray, He will hear from heaven, forgive their sins, and heal their land.

2. **Employment**: We pray that God will open the door to a stable, long-term job that aligns with His will for your life. We ask that He give you favor in the eyes of employers, and that this job will be a place where you can thrive, serve others, and glorify Him. We claim His promise in Philippians 4:19, that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

3. **Home**: We pray that God will provide a permanent home for you, a place of stability, safety, and rest. We ask that it be a home where you can find refreshment and renewed strength. We claim His promise in Psalm 91:1-2, that He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide under the shadow of the Almighty. We trust that He will provide a place for you, just as He has sustained you thus far.

4. **Strength and Renewal**: We pray that God will renew your strength, as only He can. We ask that He breathe fresh wind into your spirit, and that you would feel His presence in a tangible way. We claim His promise in Isaiah 40:29-31, that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not be weary, they will walk and not faint.

5. **Comfort and Peace**: We pray that God will comfort you with the knowledge that He is not distant, but intimately acquainted with every trial you face. We ask that He would remove your weariness and replace it with His peace, which surpasses all understanding. We claim His promise in 2 Corinthians 12:9, that His grace is sufficient for you, for His power is made perfect in weakness.

We want to remind you that you are never alone. Jesus Himself promised, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20). Even when it feels like no one understands, He does. The Psalms you love so dearly are filled with the raw, honest cries of David and others who felt abandoned, yet they continually turned to God as their refuge. You are in good company, and your honesty before the Lord is a beautiful act of worship.

We also want to encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord, even when the path seems unclear. He is not limited by circumstances. He can provide a job where there seems to be none, and He can open doors in the most unlikely places. Your story is a testament to that already - living in a shelter, then an apartment, then a van, and now the basement of a million-dollar home. That is not a coincidence; that is the hand of God sustaining you.

Keep trusting Him, and keep seeking Him. He is faithful, and He will not let you down. We are with you in this, and we will continue to lift you up before the throne of grace. Be encouraged - your breakthrough is coming.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

It is 3:43 AM and I have been doing DoorDash over one hour this. I’ve made two deliveries. On June 16, 2025, I received bad news; I would no longer be employed as a laboratory manager. It was very unsettling, considering all the hard work I’d put in the job. At the time, I had lived in my van...
