Alaska / June Psalms…

There is power and prayer (James 5:16)!

I lived in my van for 28 days. Last night, courtesy of Miss ###; I slept in a real bed. She is letting me use this primitive apartment in her Airbnb indefinitely.

The timing is incredible.

Yesterday, I lost my job as a laboratory manager. If I didn’t have this apartment, I would be stuck in the van for who knows how long. I’m so thankful to God for his provision.

What happened yesterday was terrible for me. It was my highest salary ever offered. The job would have helped me tremendously in so many ways. I’m really sad about it.

This morning I got an email from HR and the lady told me they were opening up an investigation against the other manager based on what I had told them.

One thing the other manager had asked me to do was to lie. I told him that I could not lie because it violated my conscience. I think that made him mad along with several other things.

I finished reading the psalms for May. I just now begin reading the psalms for June. I love to read them. I have asked God to show me the things that he wants me to see more clearly. As the Psalmist cried out to God, so did I. I pleaded with God for help.

I feel like Job. So many overwhelming things happen to him. So many things that are overwhelming, have happened to me. I hope and pray that God will bless my latter end more than my beginning.

I need a job. I’ve spent today looking online and applying for jobs. I have asked God to lead me and guide me in the direction that I should go. I need help with an open door. I spent most of my life, preaching Christ and crucified. Most companies today no longer have respect for preachers.

My faith is strong. I believe firmly and fully in God, 100%. I admire his word and seek to follow it in my daily walk. I am confident, that God will lead me to the right job at the right moment.

I’m not sure why God gave me the job as laboratory manager. I suspect something about it will help me get the next job. ### will tell.

I really need to tackle DoorDash with a vengeance. I will probably start that tomorrow. The timing for losing the job is not good. I needed one or two checks to get things caught up. Now, there will only be one check and it will be not very big.

So tomorrow, I will probably go out and try and make $100 during DoorDash. I used to be able to make $100 in about three hours. But now it will probably take me 4-5 hours. Of course, I also know that God can work in that area to providing me with good delivery opportunities.

I am so thankful to anyone and everyone that has prayed for me. Thank you for praying and please continue..

Please pray:
God will provide me a new job
God will reconcile my marriage and family
God will give me strength.
God will give me my own place to live.

Thank you!

We are grateful to hear of God's provision for you, even in the midst of trials. We are reminded of James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

Firstly, we want to address the absence of mentioning the name of Jesus in your prayer requests. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

We commend you for your strong faith and for standing firm on your beliefs, especially when asked to do something that violates your conscience. God honors those who honor Him. Remember the words of Psalm 37:25, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."

In this time of need, we pray that God will open doors for a new job, one that aligns with His will for you. We also pray for the reconciliation of your marriage and family, as God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. As it is written in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence! says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don’t be unfaithful."

We pray for strength for you, as God's word tells us in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." And we pray for God's provision of a place to live, trusting in His promise in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is in need. We thank You for Your provision and for the help that has been extended to him. We pray that You will open up job opportunities for him, that You will reconcile his marriage and family, that You will grant him strength, and that You will provide a place for him to live.

We pray that he will continue to trust in You, even in the midst of trials, and that he will be a light to others, pointing them to Jesus. We pray that You will guide him in all wisdom and teach him Your paths. We pray that he will not be tempted to compromise his beliefs, but that he will stand firm on Your word.

We ask all these things in Jesus' name, for it is only by His name that we have access to You. We thank You for the promise of salvation through Jesus, and we pray that our brother will continue to walk in that truth.

Amen.

As you continue your job search and trust in God's provision, remember the words of Psalm 32:8, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you." Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.

We encourage you to continue in prayer, not just for your needs, but also for the other manager, that God will convict him of his wrongdoing and grant him repentance. As it is written in Romans 2:4, "Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?"

Lastly, we want to address the mention of "Miss ###." We caution you to be mindful of your interactions, ensuring they align with biblical principles. Remember, as believers, we are to be lights to the world, reflecting Christ in all we do.

I'm so glad to hear that you've found a place to stay and that God has provided for you in such a timely manner! It's amazing how He works, isn't it? I want to echo the prayers of my fellow believers for you. We're lifting you up to the Lord, asking Him to open doors for a new job, to reconcile your marriage and family, and to give you strength and a place to live. We trust that He will guide you and provide for you, just as He has been doing.

I also want to encourage you to keep seeking God in His word. As you read the psalms, may He reveal things to you that you need to see more clearly. And remember, He is always with you, even in the most overwhelming situations. He is faithful and will never leave you or forsake you.

Lastly, I want to pray for you in Jesus' name:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today, lifting up our brother to you. We thank you for your provision in his life and for the help that has been extended to him. We pray that you would open up job opportunities for him, that you would reconcile his marriage and family, that you would grant him strength, and that you would provide a place for him to live. We pray that he would continue to trust in you, even in the midst of trials, and that he would be a light to others, pointing them to Jesus. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen."

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
