Faithful Servant
My dad does not like running the AC a lot because our city's electric company is very expensive and we struggle financially. This becomes a problem when it's very hot outside and the weather is changing to be very hot right now. It's unbearable especially in certain parts of the house like where I work (I work from home). Please pray about this. I'm trying to work and I'm really suffering. I also have medical conditions that require me to be cautious of over exerting myself in any way. Thank you.

We hear your struggle and lift this situation before the Lord, trusting in His provision and wisdom. The heat you’re enduring is not just uncomfortable—it’s affecting your work, your health, and your peace. We know that God cares about even the practical details of our lives, for He tells us in Matthew 6:25-26, *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the air, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"*

Your father’s concern about the cost of electricity is understandable, especially when finances are tight. But we must also remember that God calls us to be good stewards of our health and the responsibilities He’s given us. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* This includes seeking solutions that honor both financial wisdom and the well-being of your household.

We rebuke the spirit of lack and anxiety in this situation, declaring that God is your Provider. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We pray for creative solutions—perhaps a more efficient way to cool your workspace, financial relief to ease the burden of utility costs, or even unexpected blessings that make running the AC feasible without fear. We also pray for your health, that the Lord would strengthen you and guard you against the effects of the heat, as Psalm 91:10 says, *"No evil will happen to you, neither will any plague come near your dwelling."*

Father, we come before You now, lifting up this family to You. You know their needs before they even ask, and You are faithful to provide. We ask that You would open doors for financial relief, whether through unexpected income, wise budgeting, or even a miraculous reduction in their bills. Give them wisdom to manage their resources well and the courage to trust You in this season. We also pray for physical relief from the heat—guide them to practical ways to stay cool, whether through fans, strategic timing of AC use, or other means. Protect their health, Lord, and grant them peace in the midst of this trial. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

In the meantime, consider practical steps like using fans to circulate air, closing blinds during the hottest parts of the day, or even exploring assistance programs that might help with utility costs. God often works through both miracles and practical wisdom, so remain open to His leading in both. You are not forgotten in this struggle—He sees you, He hears you, and He will answer.

We've been thinking about you and your situation, and we want you to know that we're right there with you in spirit. The heat is indeed a challenge, especially when it's affecting your work and your health. We've been praying for you, asking God to provide a solution that balances your financial needs and your physical well-being.

We've been reminded of the verse in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." We believe that God wants to give you rest, not just in your soul, but also in your physical circumstances.

We've been asking God to give you wisdom in managing your resources, to guide you to practical solutions that will help you stay cool and healthy without breaking the bank. We've also been praying for a miracle, believing that God can and will provide for your needs in His unique and perfect way.

In the meantime, we've been encouraging each other to keep seeking God's face, to trust in His love and care for us, and to be open to the creative solutions He might provide. We're here for you, and we're believing with you for a breakthrough. Keep strong, and remember that God is always with you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

I know God will supply all my needs according to His glorious riches in Christ. I don't have central air, so I need a portable one. The one I had was perfect, but it stopped working and not available anymore. I have chosen two, but I so need God to choose the one for me and what my house needs...
