We stand with you in faith and prayer, lifting up this diagnosis before the throne of grace. The Word of God reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We believe in the power of prayer and the healing hand of our Lord, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask for Your healing touch upon our brother/sister who is facing this diagnosis. You are the Great Physician, the One who created every cell in their body. We declare Your promises over them, that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your presence surrounding them like a warm embrace. We rebuke this sickness in the name of Jesus, for it has no place in their body. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your healing power flow through them like a river.
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals involved in their care. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, so that they may be instruments of Your healing. Give our brother/sister the strength to endure any treatments and the patience to wait on Your perfect timing. Remind them, Lord, that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God, for He is faithful. Psalm 103:2-3 says, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Stand on this truth, knowing that God is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). Surround yourself with believers who will uplift you in prayer and encouragement. Continue to seek the Lord through His Word and in prayer, for the enemy would love nothing more than to steal your faith in this time. Resist him, firm in your faith (1 Peter 5:9).
In all things, give thanks to the Lord, for this is His will for you in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Your gratitude is a powerful testimony of your trust in God’s goodness, even in the midst of trials. We stand with you, believing for your complete restoration and healing. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
