We hear the deep fear and loneliness in your words, and we want you to know that you are not alone—God sees you, hears you, and cares deeply for you. The uncertainty of the future can feel overwhelming, especially when earthly relationships fail to provide the support and direction we long for. But Scripture reminds us in Psalm 56:3, *"When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you."* Even when it feels like no one else cares, God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
First, let us address the mention of the "Holy Porto." We must gently correct this, as there is no biblical reference to a "Holy Porto." Our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2), and we approach Him in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Salvation comes by grace through faith in Him (Ephesians 2:8-9), and it is the first step to finding true peace and direction.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is feeling afraid and alone. Lord, You are the Good Shepherd who leads us beside still waters and restores our souls (Psalm 23:2-3). We ask that You would calm their fears and fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, You know the future, and You hold it in Your hands. Help them to trust in Your plans, for You have promised to work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we also pray that You would surround them with godly community. You have designed us to live in fellowship with one another, and we ask that You would bring trustworthy believers into their life who can walk alongside them in faith. Help them to find a local church where they can grow in Your Word and experience the love of Christ through others.
Father, we rebuke the lie that no one cares. You care so deeply that You sent Your Son to die for us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8). Remind them of Your constant presence and Your unfailing love. Give them the strength to take one step at a time, trusting that You will guide their path (Proverbs 3:5-6).
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
In this season of uncertainty, we encourage you to cling to God’s promises. Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Even when you don’t feel His presence, know that He is with you. Consider journaling your prayers and the ways you see God moving in your life—this can be a powerful reminder of His faithfulness.
If you are not already part of a local church, we strongly encourage you to seek one out. The body of Christ is designed to support and encourage one another (1 Thessalonians 5:11). You may feel alone now, but God can use His people to be His hands and feet in your life.
Lastly, remember that fear does not come from God. *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm in your faith, and do not let fear dictate your steps. God has not given you a spirit of fear, and He will not abandon you. Keep seeking Him, and He will direct your path.
