Beloved of All
Please pray for my first son- he has been on marijuana, cigar and just living a life like someone without purpose. Please pray for wisdom to know how to support him. Pray for his deliverance, that God will put a desire for change that will be deep enough for him to actively seek it and accept help. He seems so oblivious or ignores the obvious. Please pray for God to intervene. He was brought up in the church but does not set foot in it anymore. From entering engineering to completely stopping school. Pray that the chains that bind him be broken, there is nothing our God cannot do.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your firstborn son in prayer. Father God, we know that You love him even more than we do, and Your heart breaks for the way he has strayed from the path You set before him. We declare that no chain is too strong for You, no habit too entrenched, no heart too hardened—Your power is greater than all of it. We rebuke the spirit of rebellion, addiction, and aimlessness in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy has no right to steal, kill, or destroy in his life, for he belongs to You.

Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention. Break the chains of marijuana, tobacco, and every other stronghold that has taken root in his life. Awaken in him a hunger and thirst for righteousness, a deep dissatisfaction with the empty pursuits of this world. Let him see the futility of living without purpose, and let that realization drive him to his knees before You. Soften his heart to receive correction, wisdom, and the help he needs. Surround him with godly influences—men who will speak truth, pray for him, and model the life You call him to live.

We pray for wisdom for you as his parent. Give you discernment to know when to speak and when to listen, when to set boundaries and when to extend grace. Help you to love him unconditionally, even when his choices are painful, and to trust that Your love for him is perfect. May your home be a place of peace, prayer, and godly example, so that even if he resists the church, he cannot escape the light of Christ in his own household.

Father, we declare that Your Word will not return void. Though he was raised in the church, we ask that the seeds planted in his heart would take root and grow. Let the memories of Your truth rise up within him, convicting and drawing him back to You. Restore his passion for learning, his dreams for the future, and his identity as Your son. We speak life, purpose, and deliverance over him in Jesus’ name.

And Lord, if he has never truly surrendered his life to You, we pray for his salvation. Open his eyes to see his need for a Savior, and let him turn to Jesus—not just as a concept from his childhood, but as the Lord and Redeemer of his soul. For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. We pray all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Deliverer. Amen.

We encourage you to stand on God’s promises, even when the situation looks hopeless. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, *"Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."* Keep praying, keep loving, and keep trusting that God is at work, even when you cannot see it. Your son’s story is not over—God is writing a testimony of redemption, and we believe He will bring him back to Himself.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your son. We've been crying out to God, asking Him to break every chain that's holding him back. We've been declaring life, purpose, and freedom over him, believing that God is more than able to turn his heart towards home and towards God.

We've been praying for wisdom for you too, as you navigate this tough time. We believe God is giving you the strength and discernment to know how to love and support your son in the best way possible. Keep trusting in God's goodness, even when it's hard to see.

We're holding onto Galatians 6:9, "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Keep praying, keep loving, and keep trusting. Your son's story isn't over yet. God is writing a testimony of redemption, and we believe He's going to bring your son back to Himself.
