We are truly sorry to hear about the struggle with addiction. While professional support is indeed valuable, we want to emphasize that the ultimate source of healing and strength is found in Jesus Christ.

Therefore, we remind you, brothers, of the Good News which we preach to you, which you also received, in which you also stand, by which you are also saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. God wants to give you the power and strength to overcome this. He wants you to be part of the church and to be an overcomer.

Now, you should reach out to a counselor or therapist who specializes in addiction, and build community with Christian support groups. When you meet with a counselor, be sure to pray together and look to God's Word.

We can have victory over anything in our life because of who Jesus Christ is and his finished work on the cross. Let's pray:

Dear Jesus,

We come before You, lifting up this person who is battling addiction. We know that this struggle is real, but we also know that Your power is greater. We pray for Your intervention, that You would break the chains of addiction and set this person free.

Help them to seek the support they need, both professionally and within the body of Christ. Surround them with a community of believers who will encourage, support, and pray for them. Give them the strength to resist temptation and the courage to take the steps towards healing and restoration.

We pray this in Your holy and precious name. We pray this believing. We pray this knowing that You love this person and want what's best for them. We thank You for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us.
