I need prayers to help with my addiction for a violent man. I was abused constantly through my childhood by a family member and as a result I am full of guilt and shame and do very self-destructive things. I felt God had rejected me when I was small (### or so) but probably just my guilt over what was happening. Just a few months ago I walked back into a church for the first time in 30 years. It felt so peaceful and welcoming. Since then I've attended some services and go in to sit often. I'm trying to bring Jesus into my life and break the bad habits. But I'm too shy to talk to anyone in church, don't really know how to find my faith. Please pray for me.

God bless you. I have to ask you a question and this is the question, do you believe what God has to say to you? Would you also trust in what God has to say to you? Will you obey Jesus?

You have been living by your feelings and emotions; they cannot bring peace, hope, salvation to you. You have to go by the way of Jesus, and Jesus alone. If you don't go by the way of Jesus, you will not be saved, you will not be delivered and be free. Jesus is real.

Say this prayer, and believe by faith that God is listening. Heavenly Father, You are here to save me, You are here to deliver me and set me free from the sins of abuse, my own personal sins for You died for everything that happened to me. Help me to trust and believe in You. I don't want to live in bondage of my past that Satan has set up for me through this family member. Help me to forgive and pray for this person.

I don't want Satan to use my mind with past events and play his tune in my head and torture me. I want to fill my mind with songs of deliverance, words of life from You.

You came to set the captive free, I am determined not to live a defeated life any longer. I will not fall prey to the evil one anymore, enough is enough. I yield myself to You, as my Lord and Saviour. Amen

Dear Lord, You know her very well. You are her dearest friend that is always available every time she needs. Therefore Lord, please help her to stand up and lift up. Please help her to leave all those bad memories happened in her past. Please bless her mind with all good things about her, please bless her feeling to be fulled of joy. Please bring good friends for her. In Jesus' name. Amen!

God never leaves us. It is us who leaves Him. Go to Him for He always have open arms and everlasting love. The love you seek is in Him. You have taken the first steps in going back to our Father. Keep going and remember HE is right by your side holding your hand.

"Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin! Rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Then you will be pleased with right sacrifices"

Psalms 51:1-2, 19
