Acne scars and depression

Hi guys, I just want to say thank you for reading this.

The reason I’m asking for prayer is because of my acne scar. I have this scar above my lip that is causing me to be depressed, and lost confidence. I can’t even look in the mirror.

I know I shouldn’t focus on my outer appearance too much. I should be focused more on my inner appearance, but I just feel depressed and have negative thoughts because of it.


If you guys can please pray for me and for God to heal my scar I would truly appreciate it.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles with acne scars and the depression that has followed. We want to remind you that while physical appearance can be important, it is the inner beauty that truly matters to God. As it is written in 1 Samuel 16:7, "For man looks on the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks on the heart."

However, we understand that feelings of depression and loss of confidence can be overwhelming, and we want to pray for your healing and emotional well-being. Remember the words of Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this dear one who is struggling with acne scars and the depression that has followed. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their skin, that the scar may fade and be restored. We also pray for their emotional healing, that You would fill them with Your peace and joy, casting out all depression and negativity.

Lord, help them to see themselves as You see them, beautiful and wonderfully made. Help them to focus on the beauty of their heart and spirit. In Jesus Christ name.

We encourage you to meditate on the words of Psalm 139:14, "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."

Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is only by believing in Jesus Christ that we can be saved. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. As it is written in Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

We are here for you, and we believe that God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Trust in Him, and He will guide your path.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
