The psalmist cried out, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten, and your pain is not invisible to Him.
It’s understandable that you feel disillusioned by those who claim to follow God yet fail to live out His love. Jesus Himself reserved His harshest rebukes for the religious hypocrites of His day—those who burdened others with rules while neglecting mercy, justice, and compassion. He said of them, *"They tie up heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves aren’t willing to lift a finger to help them"* (Matthew 23:4). True faith is not about performance or self-righteousness; it’s about a heart transformed by love.
