Abusive bullies

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I was severely bullied in elementary school, jr high school, and high school. The people that did have absolutely zero remorse and just went on living their lives like they did nothing. Meanwhile, I am forced to live with scars that will ever heal. The bullying they did to me will never be compensated for. I religious people will preach at me but they never ever practice what they preach. They have zero compassion, zero love, and zero mercy. They just preach to get positive attention for themselves and for their own glory and for money.

We hear the deep pain and anger in your words, and our hearts ache with you. The wounds of bullying—especially when inflicted by those who show no remorse—are not just physical or emotional, but spiritual. The scars you carry are real, and the injustice of it all can feel overwhelming. We want you to know that your suffering matters to God. He sees every tear, every moment of fear, and every silent scream of your heart. The psalmist cried out, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten, and your pain is not invisible to Him.

It’s understandable that you feel disillusioned by those who claim to follow God yet fail to live out His love. Jesus Himself reserved His harshest rebukes for the religious hypocrites of His day—those who burdened others with rules while neglecting mercy, justice, and compassion. He said of them, *"They tie up heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves aren’t willing to lift a finger to help them"* (Matthew 23:4). True faith is not about performance or self-righteousness; it’s about a heart transformed by love. If you’ve encountered people who preach without practicing, that is a failure of *their* faith, not God’s. Do not let their hypocrisy blind you to the truth of who God really is.

We must also speak truth into the bitterness that lingers. The Bible tells us, *"See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God, and that no root of bitterness springs up to cause trouble and defile many"* (Hebrews 12:15). Bitterness is a prison that keeps *you* in chains long after your bullies have moved on. Forgiveness is not about excusing their cruelty or pretending it didn’t happen—it’s about releasing the hold their actions have over your heart. It’s a choice to say, *"I will not let their sin define me or steal my joy any longer."* This is not something you can do in your own strength; it’s a work of the Holy Spirit. But it *is* possible. Jesus forgave those who crucified Him while He was still on the cross (Luke 23:34), and He can help you forgive those who harmed you.

We also rebuke the lie that your suffering will never be compensated. The world may not hold your bullies accountable, but God is a righteous judge. Scripture promises, *"Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord"* (Romans 12:19). Their lack of remorse does not go unnoticed by Him. And while justice may not come in this life, we have the assurance that one day, every wrong will be made right. Until then, God can redeem your pain. He specializes in turning ashes into beauty (Isaiah 61:3). Your story is not over, and your scars can become testimonies of His faithfulness.

Now, we must address something critical: You mentioned "religious people" but did not mention Jesus Himself. There is a difference between religion and a relationship with Christ. Religion is man-made rules and empty rituals, but Jesus is alive. He is not a distant figure or a harsh judge—He is the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one lost sheep (Luke 15:4-7). He is the One who was despised and rejected, acquainted with grief (Isaiah 53:3), so He understands your pain intimately. Salvation is not found in church attendance, good works, or even forgiveness—it’s found in surrendering your life to Jesus, who died for your sins and rose again so you could have eternal life. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). If you have never truly invited Him into your heart, we urge you to do so today. He is the only One who can heal the deepest wounds and give you a hope that transcends your past.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who has endured so much pain at the hands of others. Lord, You see every scar—both the visible and the hidden—and You collect every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We ask that You would pour out Your healing balm on these wounds. Where there is bitterness, replace it with Your peace. Where there is anger, replace it with Your love. Where there is despair, replace it with hope in Your promises.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of unforgiveness that seeks to keep our brother/sister bound. Give them the strength to release these burdens to You, knowing that vengeance belongs to You alone. Help them to see their bullies through Your eyes—not as monsters, but as people in need of Your grace, just as we all are. Heal the memories that haunt them and replace them with Your truth.

Lord, we also pray for a revelation of who You truly are. Break through the lies that say You are distant or uncaring. Show them that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You long to carry their burdens (Matthew 11:28). If they have never truly known You, draw them to Yourself now. Let them experience Your love in a tangible way—through Your Word, through Your people, and through the still, small voice of Your Spirit.

We declare over them that their past does not define their future. You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5), and that includes their story. Use their pain for a purpose—whether to comfort others, to stand against injustice, or to bring glory to Your name. Surround them with godly community that reflects Your love, not hypocrisy. And Lord, give them the courage to forgive, not because their bullies deserve it, but because You first forgave us.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who was wounded for our transgressions and by whose stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Amen.

You are not alone in this. The road to healing is not easy, but it is possible with Jesus walking beside you. We encourage you to seek out a biblical, Christ-centered community where you can be loved and supported. If you’ve never truly given your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. He is the only One who can turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). Your pain matters to Him, and so do you.

We're here with you, friend. We see the deep hurt you've carried for so long, and it breaks our hearts too. The wounds of bullying are real and lasting, and it's unfair that those who caused you pain have moved on without remorse. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. I too was bullied as well as bullied others but there is more healing from Jesus and much more compensation to be received through Jesus than even I can comprehend. Having a relationship with Jesus is very real and did you know that true repentance is just changing the ways that we think without making our ways perfect? Did you know that through Jesus we own everything?

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Pray this prayer look up the verses and pray it again with your friends and family and let's mount up with wings as eagles and soar. Soar with me.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Matthew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirit Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.

We want you to know how deeply we’ve carried your pain to the Lord in prayer these past days. The wounds of childhood bullying run so much deeper than words can express, and we’ve asked God to pour His healing balm over every memory that still brings you pain. We’ve prayed for His justice to prevail—not in the way the world measures it, but in the way only He can bring: restoration of what was stolen, peace where there’s been turmoil, and a sense of wholeness that no human cruelty can undo.

We’ve also lifted up your struggle with those who claim faith but fail to live it. It’s heartbreaking when the very people who should reflect Christ’s love instead bring more hurt, and we’ve asked God to soften hearts—including our own—to be vessels of His genuine compassion, not empty words. We’ve prayed that you would encounter believers who *do* practice what they preach, who will walk beside you with humility and love, and who will point you to Jesus, not themselves.

If God has already begun to answer these prayers in ways you can see, we’d be so grateful to hear about it—your praise reports strengthen all of us. And if the healing still feels distant, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We’re not going anywhere. We’ll keep standing with you, trusting that God sees every tear, hears every cry, and is working even when we can’t see it.

May He draw near to you in ways that leave no doubt of His presence, and may His love rewrite the story of your scars into a testimony of His faithfulness. We continue to pray in Jesus’ name.
