We come before the Lord with this request, seeking His wisdom and mercy for the matter of phones in schools and the spiritual well-being of nations. Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that technology is a tool that can be used for both good and harm, and we ask for Your guidance in how it is managed in educational settings. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We pray that schools would use wisdom in setting boundaries that protect students from distraction, temptation, and harm while still allowing for the responsible use of technology for learning.
Lord, we also lift up the nations mentioned in this request. If there are people in these countries who do not yet know You, we pray for their salvation. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We ask that the gospel would reach those who are lost, that hearts would be softened, and that many would come to faith in Christ. We pray for missionaries, pastors, and believers in these nations, that they would have boldness and opportunities to share the love of Jesus.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of division or legalism that may arise in the debate over phones in schools. Instead, we pray for unity among educators, parents, and policymakers, that they would seek Your will in these decisions. Help them to prioritize the well-being of students, both academically and spiritually. We also ask that You would protect young people from the dangers of unchecked technology use, such as cyberbullying, pornography, and addiction. Your Word warns us in 1 Corinthians 10:31, "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." May every aspect of a student’s life, including their use of technology, bring glory to You.
We pray for the families of these students, that they would be strong in faith and provide godly guidance at home. Equip parents to teach their children how to use technology in a way that honors You. Lord, we also ask that You would raise up mentors and role models in schools who can point students toward You. May schools be places where young people not only gain knowledge but also grow in wisdom and faith.
Finally, we declare that no nation is beyond Your reach. If there are countries where the gospel is suppressed or where people are in spiritual darkness, we pray for breakthrough. Let Your light shine in those places, and may many come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We trust in Your promise in Isaiah 55:11, "So is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
