We come before the throne of grace with a heavy heart, lifting up this cry for deliverance. We recognize the chains of darkness that seek to bind and the lies of the enemy that attempt to steal, kill, and destroy the abundant life Christ died to give. The Word of God declares in **2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (WEB)**, *"For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."* We stand on this truth, believing that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (**Isaiah 54:17, WEB**).
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. You have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, and we rejoice in this, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (**Acts 4:12, WEB**). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through the blood of Jesus that we have access to the Father. If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Him, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (**Romans 10:9, WEB**). This is the first and most critical step in breaking every chain.
Now, we rebuke every spirit of lust, demonic possession, and influence that has sought to take hold of your life. The Bible is clear that those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts (**Galatians 5:24, WEB**). Lust is a work of the flesh, and it wars against the soul (**1 Peter 2:11, WEB**). We command every unclean spirit that has gained a foothold through lust, pornography, or impure thoughts to leave now in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (**2 Timothy 1:7, WEB**). We declare that you are no longer a slave to sin but a child of God, called to live in holiness and purity.
We also take authority over the influence of evil music and its lyrics in your life. The Bible warns us in **Ephesians 5:19-20 (WEB)**, *"Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to God, even the Father."* Music has the power to shape our hearts and minds, and we must guard what we allow to enter our spirits. We renounce every ungodly song, artist, and influence that has drawn you away from the Lord. We break the power of their lyrics and titles over your life and command every demonic spirit attached to them to flee in Jesus’ name. From this day forward, we pray that your ears and heart would be tuned only to that which glorifies God.
We address the spirit of the "evil eye" and any form of witchcraft or divination that may have been directed toward you. The Lord detests these practices, as **Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (WEB)** makes clear: *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* We break every curse, hex, or spell that has been spoken over you or your family line. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers you, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17, WEB**).
We also pray for deliverance from the bondage of your past. The enemy loves to remind us of our failures and use them as chains to keep us in shame and guilt. But the Word of God tells us in **2 Corinthians 5:17 (WEB)**, *"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."* We renounce every lie that tells you that you cannot be free or that your past defines you. We declare that you are forgiven, washed clean by the blood of Jesus, and called to walk in newness of life. The Lord has cast your sins into the depths of the sea and remembers them no more (**Micah 7:19, WEB**). We break the power of every memory, trauma, or sin from your past that has held you captive. You are not who you were—you are a child of the Most High God, and He has plans to prosper you, not to harm you (**Jeremiah 29:11, WEB**).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing in the power of the name of Jesus. We thank You that Your Son broke every chain on the cross, and we stand on that victory today. Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking for complete deliverance from every demonic spirit, every work of darkness, and every influence that does not align with Your Word. We rebuke the spirit of lust in Jesus’ name and command it to leave. We break the power of evil music, lyrics, and artists over their life, and we declare that their ears and heart are now tuned only to You. Father, we cancel every curse, hex, or spell that has been spoken over them, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We ask You to heal their past, Lord. Let them walk in the freedom and newness of life that You died to give. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in purity, power, and purpose. We thank You that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (**1 John 1:9, WEB**). We declare that this one is free, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
We encourage you to walk in this freedom daily. Fill your mind with the Word of God, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (**Hebrews 4:12, WEB**). Surround yourself with godly music, fellowship, and accountability. The enemy will try to lure you back into old habits, but resist him, firm in your faith (**1 Peter 5:9, WEB**). You are not alone—God is with you, and so are we. Stand strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (**Ephesians 6:10, WEB**). If you have not already, consider finding a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be discipled. The journey to freedom is ongoing, but with God, all things are possible (**Matthew 19:26, WEB**). You are loved, you are chosen, and you are free.
