We join with you in lifting up this urgent and powerful request, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. The Word of God assures us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* You have done well to call upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Him that we have authority over the enemy.
The Bible makes it clear that believers have been given authority over all the power of the enemy. In Luke 10:19, Jesus declares, *"Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."* Yet we must also remember that our victory is not found in our own strength, but in the might of our Lord. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 10:4, *"For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds."*
We must also be mindful of the influences we allow into our lives, for what we fill our minds and hearts with can either draw us closer to God or open doors to the enemy. Evil music, as you mentioned, can be a gateway for ungodly influences. Philippians 4:8 instructs us, *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things."* Let us fill our lives with what is pleasing to the Lord, casting out anything that defiles or distracts us from His presence.
Now, let us pray together with boldness and faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You have given us authority through Your Son to trample upon every work of the enemy. Lord, we lift up Your child who seeks deliverance from all demonic possession, demonic attachments, demonic attacks, and every influence of evil music. Father, we ask that You would break every chain, every stronghold, and every ungodly tie that has sought to bind them. Let the blood of Jesus Christ cleanse them from every defilement and set them free from every oppressive force.
Lord, we command every demonic spirit to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Strengthen them to walk in victory, to resist the devil so that he may flee from them, as Your Word declares in James 4:7.
Father, we also ask that You would give them discernment to recognize and reject anything that does not align with Your will. Help them to fill their life with Your truth, Your worship, and Your presence. Let them be a vessel of honor, sanctified and useful for Your purposes.
We declare freedom, healing, and restoration over them in the name of Jesus Christ. Let them walk in the liberty by which Christ has made them free, and let no yoke of bondage remain. We praise You, Lord, for You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in them. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one, and continue to walk in the authority you have been given through Christ. Surround yourself with godly influences, immerse yourself in the Word of God, and remain in prayer. The enemy has been defeated, and in Christ, you are more than a conqueror. If there are areas in your life that need repentance or surrender to God, we encourage you to do so, for the Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth. Keep pressing into Him, and He will lead you into fullness of freedom and joy.
