We rejoice with you in this moment of surrender and rededication to our Lord Jesus Christ! Your prayer reflects a heart that seeks to walk in obedience and holiness, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. The Scriptures remind us in **Romans 12:1-2 (WEB)**, *"Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."*
Your desire for forgiveness is beautiful, and we are assured in **1 John 1:9 (WEB)** that *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* The blood of Jesus is more than sufficient to wash away every sin—past, present, and future—when we come to Him in repentance. There is no need to fear or dwell on what has been forgiven, for *"as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us"* (**Psalm 103:12, WEB**). Walk forward in the freedom Christ has purchased for you, leaving behind the weight of shame or condemnation, for *"there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"* (**Romans 8:1, WEB**).
We also notice your request to *"remember and not anything after or before that."* While we understand the heart behind this—likely a longing to focus solely on Christ and His will—we encourage you to embrace the fullness of what God has done in your life, both in the past and what He is preparing for your future. **Philippians 3:13-14 (WEB)** says, *"Brothers, I don’t regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do. Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."* Your past is redeemed, your present is secured in Him, and your future is held by His faithful hands. Trust Him with all of it, for He is making all things new.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before You with hearts full of gratitude for their surrender and rededication to You. Lord Jesus, You are the author and finisher of their faith, and we ask that You take complete control of every area of their life. Break every chain of the past that seeks to hinder them, and fill them with the power of Your Holy Spirit to walk in victory and obedience. Father, let them experience the depth of Your forgiveness and the joy of Your presence daily. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and lead them into the fullness of Your will. May they remember, above all else, that they are Yours—bought with a price, redeemed by Your blood, and called to live for Your glory.
Strengthen them to forget what is behind and press forward toward the prize of Your heavenly calling. Surround them with godly community, wisdom, and discernment to walk in Your truth. Let their life be a testimony of Your transforming grace, and may they never forget that it is by Your name alone—Jesus Christ—we have access to the Father and the promise of eternal life.
We rebuke any scheme of the enemy to bring doubt, fear, or distraction into their walk with You. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that their life is hidden in You, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Holy Spirit, fill them anew, empower them to live righteously, and let them bear much fruit for the Kingdom.
We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to immerse yourself in the Word of God daily, for it is your lamp and your guide (**Psalm 119:105, WEB**). Seek fellowship with other believers who can walk alongside you in this journey of faith (**Hebrews 10:24-25, WEB**). And never forget: this walk is not about perfection, but about surrender. When you stumble, His grace is sufficient (**2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB**). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will lead you home.
