We understand that you are seeking forgiveness from our Heavenly Father. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to God and forgiveness. As it is written in the WEB, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5
Let us pray together for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who has sought Your forgiveness. Lord, You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. We ask that You forgive their sins and cleanse them from all unrighteousness.
We pray that they may walk in newness of life, putting off the old self with its practices and putting on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its Creator.
We ask that You will strengthen them to resist temptation and to live a life pleasing to You. We pray that they will be filled with Your Holy Spirit.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to strive to go and sin no more. The Bible teaches us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." 1 Corinthians 10:13.
Remember, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9. Continue to walk in the light, as he is in the light, and you will have fellowship with one another.
