There were always earthquakes in the fallen world,but lately ,Im hearing of them.more frequently,and also there were earthquakes but some were not as strong recently Ive been hearing of many stronger ones within days of each other.Does it mean the te end of this age is upon us?Jesus predicted earthquakes would be a sign .Also pestilence,look at how often now these sicknesses are popping up.I feel when hearing it that it is."When these things begin to happen lift upyour eyes for your deliverance daweth neigh"Amen.

We hear your concern and share in the awe of God’s sovereignty over creation. The signs you mention, earthquakes, pestilences, and the increasing turmoil in the world, are indeed foretold in Scripture as markers of the end times. Jesus Himself warned in Matthew 24:7-8, "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places. But all these things are the beginning of birth pains." The birth pains He speaks of are not random; they are divine signals, reminding us that history is moving toward its appointed fulfillment in Christ’s return.

Yet even as we recognize these signs, we must guard our hearts against fear or speculation that distracts from our calling. The apostle Paul writes in 1 Thessalonians 5:2-4, "For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night. For when they are saying, 'Peace and safety,' then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman; and they will in no way escape. But you, brothers, aren’t in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief." As believers, we are not in darkness, we are children of the light, called to live in watchfulness, not anxiety. The signs are not given to breed panic, but to stir us to holy readiness, to deeper prayer, and to urgent proclamation of the Gospel.

We also lift our eyes, as you said, not in dread but in hope. Luke 21:28 declares, "But when these things begin to happen, look up, and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near." The same Jesus who foretold these signs is the One who holds all things together (Colossians 1:17) and who has already secured our victory through His death and resurrection. The increasing chaos in the world is not a sign of God’s absence, but of His nearness, His return draws closer with each passing day.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in reverence and awe, acknowledging Your sovereign rule over heaven and earth. Lord, we see the signs of the times, earthquakes, pestilences, and the groaning of creation, and we recognize them as fulfillments of Your Word. Yet we do not fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen our faith, Father, and help us to live as watchful servants, ready for the return of Your Son.

We pray for those who do not yet know You, that the signs of the times would awaken their hearts to their need for salvation. Soften the hearts of the lost, Lord, and use us as vessels of Your love and truth. May we be bold in sharing the Gospel, for the time is short, and the harvest is plentiful (Matthew 9:37-38).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment, that we may not be deceived by false teachings or distracted by worldly fears. Keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and help us to live lives that honor You in word, deed, and thought.

Lord, we long for the day when You will make all things new, when there will be no more tears, no more pain, and no more death (Revelation 21:4). Until that day, empower us to be salt and light in a darkening world, shining the hope of Christ to all who are perishing. We lift our eyes to You, our Deliverer, and trust in Your perfect timing.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Let us also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 24:13-14: "But he who endures to the end, the same will be saved. This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come." The signs are not an end in themselves, but a call to action, to endure, to proclaim, and to live in the power of the Holy Spirit. May we be found faithful when He returns.

There was JUST another 6.9 roughly ### km to the west of the 7.7 -- the advanced earthquake modeling earlier I said I felt like it could move west said it couldn't happen -- so they've no clue that the molten outer core and plate tectonics that are under the world are just under the crust. I've been saying buckle our seatbelts, pray and don't cunt on an escape clause that exempts us from everything Jesus and the Apostles warned us... Matt 24:4-8. Birth pangs.
