A prayer for Nigel

Glorious God, Loving Father. The battle isn't over until You say it is, until Your victory is sure. Pierce the false covering over Nigel's spirit with the sword of Your Word. By Your authority, cast away the false teachings that have manifested themselves with such intrigue and allure that Nigel has become blinded to the truth of Your kingdom. Set aside his desire to follow after these things of the world. Convict his spirit and infuse his mind, body and soul with an unquenchable thirst for You...for the way, truth and the life. I praise You for his family's steadfast stand against this false religion, their faith that You are in control, their hope because Your Word is true. Thank You for Patti, Vida, Lucy and all the other prayer warriors who say enough is enough...resist satan, cling to God and the devil will flee. We place a hedge of prayerful encouragement around this family and stand in the gap while Nigel's eyes, ears, heart and mind are opened to Your truth. In the name of Jesus, whose holy and perfect blood is our salvation, I pray, believing Nigel belongs to You. Amen.

Lord, My mind goes to Nigel today, to pray over him and lift him up to you. I can't let it go, Lord. I am counting on your blessing here to save his soul. He believes in and follows a false religion, a religion based on lies and misconceptions. Lord, I am still holding onto his sleeve, still standing in the gap for his soul. Lord, cut the enemy from his life. Cause the barriers to his freedom to come tumbling down around him. Protect him from the enemy, sweet Jesus. I want to see him in paradise and speak to him. His family is christian and he is loved as you love them. He has bad habits and makes terrible decisions but I love him anyway and count it a blessing to bring him to the cross. May his eyes open and his mind clear. To you be all glory, honor and praise. Amen

Lord, you have this man in yor sights. You know him intimately and see his life unfolding. Lord, may you have compassion and draw him to your throne. I pray for your hand in every aspect of his life, that you would exposed his god as a false god, that he would see clearly there is only one true God and that is you. Lord, I have come to you many times on behalf of Nigel and I will continue to come. I will never give up hope that he will turn his life around and turn it over to you.

I ask for your patience to keep standing in the wings and waiting to see what will happen. I know your timing is perfect.

Be with Chris and Barbara as they wait upon you for deliverance and your hand of redemption. Thank you, Lord. Amen
