Lord, I come to You today with a heart that is worried, but still holding on to You. You know our situation. You know how much we need to accomplish while we are here in ###, and You know the expenses we did not expect. We need to have our laptop repaired because our child truly needs it. We also have phones that need to be repaired, and these are things we cannot easily fix where we are staying. Lord, honestly, I am worried about our finances. I pray that somehow, after everything we need to pay and take care of, You will still provide enough for us and allow something to remain for our needs in the coming months. If it were only my decision, I would want to save what we have. But there are things we need to face and responsibilities we cannot ignore. So I surrender this to You, Lord. Please show us what to do. Open doors that we cannot see. Provide through unexpected ways, give us wisdom in every decision, and help us manage every peso wisely. Lord, I don't know where the money will come from, but You know exactly what we need. I ask not only for enough for today, but for provision for the coming months. Please don't let us be left with nothing. Give me peace when I feel afraid, strength when I feel overwhelmed, and faith when I don't see the answer yet. I believe You are our Provider. I believe You can make a way even when I cannot see one. Lord, please help us financially. Provide for our needs, protect what we have, and lead us to the right decisions. I leave everything in Your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We hear the weight of your concern and the sincerity of your trust in the Lord as you lay your financial burdens before Him. Your prayer reflects a heart that is seeking God’s provision and wisdom, and we join with you in bringing these needs before our Heavenly Father.

The Bible reassures us that God is our Provider, and He knows our needs even before we ask. In Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus tells us, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." This passage reminds us that our priority should be seeking God’s kingdom, and He will take care of our needs. It is not wrong to bring our financial concerns to Him, but we must also trust that He will guide us in how to steward what He has already given us.

We also want to encourage you to examine your expenses with wisdom and discernment. Proverbs 21:5 says, "The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty." This is not to place blame or shame, but to remind you that God often provides through our own diligence, planning, and wise management of resources. Ask the Lord to reveal any areas where you may need to adjust your spending or priorities so that you can honor Him with what He has entrusted to you.

We also lift up the practical needs you mentioned, the laptop and phones that require repair. While these are important tools, we encourage you to prayerfully consider whether they are truly urgent needs or if they can wait until God provides in His timing. Sometimes, God allows us to wait so that we can grow in patience, trust, and creativity. James 1:2-4 says, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." Even in financial strain, God is working in you to produce endurance and faith that will not be shaken.

Let us pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that are heavy with financial concerns, but also with faith that You are our Provider. Lord, You see the needs of this family, and You know the burdens they carry. We ask that You would open doors of provision in ways they cannot yet see. Give them wisdom to manage what they have, discernment to prioritize their needs, and peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait on You. Father, we ask that You would protect their finances from waste or mismanagement and that You would guide them in every decision they make. Provide for their needs, not just for today, but for the months ahead, so that they may continue to serve You without fear or lack. Strengthen their faith when the answer is not yet visible, and remind them that You are working even in the waiting. We trust in Your promise that those who seek You first will lack no good thing. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to gently remind you that while financial provision is important, your ultimate security is in Christ. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Him as your Savior and Lord. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we invite you to do so today. Salvation is not found in financial security, but in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Lastly, we encourage you to seek godly counsel from trusted believers in your community. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Sometimes, God provides through the wisdom and generosity of others. Do not hesitate to reach out to your church or Christian friends for support and prayer.

We stand with you in faith, believing that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He will not abandon you.

That tight place between what we can see and what we must trust God for is exactly where your prayer has carried you, and we’re holding that prayer with you right now.

Your honest “I surrender this to You, Lord” is already an act of trust. Trust isn’t having a stress-free answer in hand; it’s handing over what we can’t control to the One who can, then taking the next small step. Maybe that step this week looks like sitting down with a notepad and listing every expense, starting with the most urgent need, your child’s laptop, and asking God for creativity with each one. Sometimes provision shows up through a friend who can repair things, a church family that shares what they have, or a wiser way to stretch what already sits in your hand. We’re not promising a miracle windfall, but we know God often meets need through the ordinary kindness of others and through decisions we hadn’t yet considered.

We also want to gently name the anxiety in your chest. It’s so real, and you’re carrying it with such steadiness. Keep bringing it back to Him, not as a failure of faith but as a rhythm of dependence. Even a few deep breaths and a whispered “I trust You with today’s enough” can anchor you when the numbers don’t add up.

Father, thank You that this dear person hasn’t let go of You. Please bring the right help and the right provisions, for the laptop, the phones, and the everyday needs ahead. Give wisdom to manage each peso. Quiet the fear that cries scarcity, and sustain them with Your peace that makes no earthly sense. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

It is well that you bring your anxieties unto the Lord, yet you confess you are worried. Now hear the Word of the Lord: "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You." Your mind has been stayed too much upon the broken laptop, upon the phones, upon the unexpected expenses, and upon the months to come. The Lord bids you, "Have faith in God."

This laptop, these phones, these pesos, all this is only a stage upon which the Grace of God, in answer to your prayerful faith, shall come and do its wonders! You ask to see open doors and unexpected provision, but strong faith is content without signs, without tokens, without marvels! It believes God's bare Word and asks for no confirming miracle. You say you do not know where the money will come from; He does not ask you to know. He asks you to trust. The essence of faith lies in dropping down into His arms. Have you that faith? That is the one all-important question.

You pray for provision for the coming months, and it is right to bring your needs before Him. But cast your gaze further still, to the expected end He has promised. God's thoughts toward His people are always thoughts of peace. He is at peace with you through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ, and He designs your highest good. Will He who gave His Son not also with Him freely give you all things? If it needs a million miracles to fulfill His promises, they shall be forthcoming, but He can just as easily overrule the ordinary ways of Providence. The Lord will perform His own Word.

You speak of the responsibilities you cannot ignore. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. The great peace of God's Law refers to a peace which can exist when strife rages all around. Let your prayer now be, "Lord, increase my faith." You have some faith, or you would not ask at all. But let your greater petition be for more of it. Go to Him and cry, "Lord, I believe, help my unbelief." It is a blessed thing, this little faith, not its littleness, but its faith! The least faith in Jesus is the gift of God and is like precious faith, though it is not like strong faith. Yet He looks upon it as a jeweler upon a precious stone.

Now hear this and let it be a sword to slay your unbelief. You are not cast out, even in this trial. He has taught you from your youth, educating your faith through many struggles. You are God's pupil even now, in this very need. Therefore, take up the shield of faith. It is a shield of proof, forged of heaven, and fixed in the Person of Christ. Behind it, you may quietly go through this present storm. Lift it high, bearing the blood-red emblem of the Cross. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within.

What a strange school this is, you think, to be taught faith by a broken laptop. But it has its purpose. Cease then your calculating and your worrying over months to come. Cast yourself upon Him. Is He not your God? Say it now: "You are my God. I will have my God." If you are His, and He is yours, then your cabin, your ship, your Christ, your faith in Him, gives you rest and peace. Let your soul find its calm, not on the billows of provision, but on Jesus' bosom where nothing but calm is found. Go your way; your faith has saved you. Peace, perfect peace.

You say you are worried, but still holding on to God. This is the very struggle of faith, and it is good that you cling to Him. But listen to the truth: our heavenly Father knows you have need of these things. If He clothes the grass that today is and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more provide for you? The fact that these expenses are necessary should drive away your anxiety, not increase it. For what kind of father would fail to supply his children with what they truly need? When God undertakes to feed us, we must learn to put off all worldly care and trust that He will most surely bestow even these necessities.

No one ever perished of hunger unless by his own choice. He feeds the adulterer, the fornicator, the sorcerer; He feeds all, even those full of every kind of wickedness. Will He then overlook you, who call on Him with a believing heart? So do not let tomorrow’s provision trouble you today. The riches that bring confidence are not possessions, which only enslave and blind the eyes, but the fear of God and a quiet trust. The one who chooses a simple trust in God is richer than any king, for the king lives in constant anxiety about his supplies, while the one who relies on God has enough of everything and fears nothing.

Yet let me also gently ask you to examine these “needs.” Are these things truly necessary, or has some desire disguised itself as a necessity? We are commanded not to make provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts. Luxury and excess fuel the flame of restless cravings, while a disciplined life yields peace. If the laptop and phones are indeed needful for your child and for honest work, then cast that care upon Him. But if any part of this anxiety comes from wanting more than is needful, strip it away, for God often delays so that we may learn to be content with daily bread.

Honor God not only with your lips but with your deeds. Manage every peso with wisdom, avoid all waste, and when you see another in want, be merciful even out of your little. That is the way to honor Him who created you, who breathed a living soul into you, who crowned you with glory and set you over the works of His hands. He will not leave you with nothing. As the Apostle Paul saw, mercy is given so that none need despair; his life is an example of how God’s long-suffering meets our weakness. So make your prayer not a list of worries, but a surrender. Entrust your lack to Him who knows exactly what you need, and let your heart rest. He will open doors you cannot see, give you wisdom in each decision, and provide enough both for today and for the days ahead.
