A prayer for deliverance

Dear Yeshua, please help banish the entities that are like parasites in my body. Dear Yeshua, please for now and the future, protect me and my family members from demons and ill willed people. Yeshua, Yeshua, Yeshua. I call upon the Lord's name, Yeshua.

We hear your cry for deliverance and protection, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). While you have called upon "Yeshua," we want to affirm that there is no other name given among men by which we must be saved than the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Him alone that we receive salvation, deliverance, and protection. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). We encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus Christ, for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

The Bible makes it clear that spiritual warfare is real, and we are called to resist the devil so that he will flee from us (James 4:7). We rebuke any demonic presence or influence in your life and declare that you are a child of God, sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14). The enemy has no authority over you because you belong to Christ. We command every unclean spirit to leave you now in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

We also pray for your protection and that of your family from any ill-willed people or spiritual attacks. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and He will cover you with His feathers and under His wings you will find shelter (Psalm 91:1-4). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus Christ covers you and your family, and no harm shall come near your dwelling.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority You have given us through Your Son to overcome the powers of darkness. We stand on Your Word, which declares that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We rebuke every demonic entity that has sought to attach itself to [this individual] and command it to leave now in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that [this individual] is washed clean by the blood of Jesus and filled with the Holy Spirit.

Father, we ask for Your hedge of protection around [this individual] and their family. Surround them with Your angels to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Shield them from the schemes of the enemy and the ill will of others. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that You would expose any hidden works of darkness and bring them to light, for You are the God who sees all and knows all.

Lord, we ask that You fill [this individual] with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the fullness of Your power and authority. Strengthen their faith and help them to stand firm in the truth of Your Word. Remind them that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). May they find their identity and security in You alone, knowing that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to deliver and protect Your children. We trust in Your promises and declare that no evil shall befall [this individual] or their family, for You are their God and they are Your people. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through prayer, reading His Word, and surrounding yourself with fellow believers who can support and encourage you. The enemy may try to return, but if you remain steadfast in your faith, he will find no place in you (Matthew 12:43-45). Put on the full armor of God daily so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Walk in the light of Christ, and you will have nothing to fear, for He has overcome the world (John 16:33).

Your cry to Yeshua doesn’t go unheard. We join you in calling on His name, knowing He is the Deliverer with authority over every darkness. When the pressure feels relentless, simply repeating His name, as you are doing, is a steady anchor; He hears and is near.

We especially want you to know you aren’t meant to face this alone. In the body of Christ, we carry one another’s burdens. If you haven’t already, we’d gently encourage you to share what you’re experiencing with a trusted pastor or a few mature believers who can pray with you in person. Having others lay hands on you and stand in agreement provides comfort and reinforcement, and it reflects how the church has always walked alongside those seeking deliverance and peace. It doesn’t mean your faith is lacking, it means you’re drawing on the family God has given you.

Hold tightly to this: your security and your family’s protection don’t depend on your own strength. Christ holds you. His care extends over your household, even when circumstances feel chaotic or threatened.

Shall we pray together?

Lord Jesus, we lift this dear one who is crying out to You. You are the Good Shepherd; shield them and their family from all ill will and any spiritual assault. Banish everything that does not belong to You. Cover them with Your peace, and let Your light flood every corner of body, mind, and home. In Your mighty name, Yeshua, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God has given commandment to save you and you shall be saved, saved from the devil! Deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. If you are ever set free from sin and Satan, it will be eternally and infinitely true that the Lord brought you forth. Unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance is worth nothing; you must be born again from above if you are to go above. Look to your heavenly Father, altogether and alone.

The Lord has chastened you sorely, yet all your ills lie within the fence of Omnipotent overruling. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner.God, who will surely raise His people from the dead by His own power, can and will as surely raise them from every kind of trouble and apparent destruction. This deliverance comes through redemption: He is gracious, and says, “Deliver him from going down to the Pit: I have found a ransom.” That ransom is the gift of Divine Love, found in Christ Jesus alone. Be of good comfort, rise! He calls you. Cast yourself at the Redeemer’s feet.

Turn from your evil ways, for why will you die? You will need to look to a stronger arm and a mightier power than a merely mortal one. If anything dear as life hinders you from simple faith in Jesus, renounce it. The Lord will not only prevent the powers of evil from doing you harm but He will cause you to damage their empire by your patience. You shall be the plague of Satan and the destroyer of his strongholds. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

Consider what you fear. Demons have no power to hurt or help of themselves. They are not gods, but stones and demons, as the Apostle would tell you. The things which enter in do not defile a man, but the things which proceed out from the heart. To cry out against parasitic entities as though they could overwhelm a soul marked by Christ is to grant them an honor they do not possess. The very one you call upon, Yeshua, showed this when He strengthened the paralytic and raised the dead, saying, “Ye shall see greater things than these.” He has already displayed the manner of His deliverance.

But examine your own cry. You ask for banishment and protection. Yet others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. They looked for a better life, not merely the expulsion of a present trouble. If you run to the Lord’s name only for a spell of safety, while your inner house remains swept clean but empty of true thanksgiving, you stand worse than a dog. The dog, even when famishing, fawns upon his master. But many, when they receive a benefit, forget the Giver and run to the tables of demons. The hymns sung to the lyre in a feast are none other than songs to demons.

This is the warfare. The Apostles were not warring against mere flesh, but against demons, and the prince of those beings was their battle array. But their strength was not in chanting a name as a charm; it was in having put on Christ, who delivers from the curse of the law. If He has delivered you unto sonship, act the part of a son. The judgment is hinted at when the body is braced: “Sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.” The future resurrection is confirmed by the past raising of Lazarus. Since Christ has done what fell little short of resurrection, hold fast to Him. Let your thanksgiving abound, and the assaults of the demons will make you tremble no more than Paul sewing hides in a tent-maker’s shop, while angels were reverencing him and demons trembling.

When you cry out to the name of Yeshua, you are reaching toward the only one who has absolute authority over every unclean spirit. He cast out demons with a word, and no power of darkness can stand against Him. So I want you to know that your plea is heard, and His arm is not shortened that it cannot save. But as your pastor, I care too much to stop there. There is something deeper that the Scriptures press us to consider whenever we seek deliverance while holding onto our own ways.

Evil spirits are real, and they are destructive. The Bible shows us that in the last days, tormenting demonic forces will be unleashed, and people will long to die rather than endure what they bring. Yet the sobering truth is that many who experience such misery still refuse to repent of the evil they have enthroned in their lives. They ask for relief from the torment but will not let go of the wickedness that opened the door. I am not saying this is your case, but I must ask you to search your heart. Are there patterns of thought, habits, or relationships that the Word of God calls evil? Anything that destroys you or destroys those around you falls under that category. The commandments were given to protect us, and when we ignore them, we invite ruin.

You asked for protection from demons and from ill-willed people. Yeshua is your shield, but He calls His people to walk in a manner worthy of that protection. The promises of safety and blessing are not unconditional. If we cling to evil in our hearts, God may turn from the good He intended for us. The trumpet of warning sounds, and there is no evil in a city that the Lord has not ultimately allowed as judgment. But His heart is to relent the moment we hearken and turn. Even when Judah was trusting in the temple and its rituals, God saw their daily lives were filled with evil, and He sent the Babylonians. Outward cries for help mean very little if we are inwardly saying, “I will walk after my own devices, and I will do whatever my evil heart imagines.”

The genuine fear of the Lord is to hate evil. Not to flirt with it, not to study it out of curiosity, not to boast in it. We live in a time when people call good evil and evil good, and they despise those who draw a sharp line. But being simple concerning evil is wisdom. Do not dabble in what you think you merely need to understand. Let your ignorance about the works of darkness be profound.

So continue calling on the name above every name. Yeshua, Yeshua, Yeshua, that cry rises like incense. But let that cry be matched by a turning. Repentance is not just feeling sorry; it is amending your doings. It is abandoning the very things that give these parasitic entities a foothold. If you will truly listen to His voice and turn from your evil way, you will find that the evil of judgment gives way to the covering of His hand. He longs to say over you, “You are my people,” and to plant you in safety. But He will not compete with other masters you have welcomed in.

Pray for deliverance, yes. And pray for a heart that delights in what He loves and recoils from what He hates. Do not trust in a formula or an experience, but in the living God who is present right now. He is not far off. His word in your mouth is like a sword, and He has promised to cover you if you will walk after Him. May your whole household be shielded, not just from ill-willed men, but from the far greater danger of a heart that is wise to do evil but ignorant in doing good.
