We join together with you in lifting up our born again sister before the throne of grace, asking for a miracle of healing after this car accident that has left her unable to walk and confined to a wheelchair. Our hearts are moved with compassion for her and for all who love her, and we seek the Lord's mercy and power on her behalf in Jesus' name.
We believe that our God is still the God who heals, and that nothing is too hard for Him. Scripture reminds us who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:3, and But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17. We are also reminded that But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was on him, and by his stripes we are healed, Isaiah 53:5. Jesus Himself said With God all things are possible, Matthew 19:26, and we cling to that truth as we pray for her legs, her spine, her nerves, her muscles and every part of her body that was injured.
We also take comfort in the promise that Is any among you sick, let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, James 5:14-15. Therefore we encourage the family and the local body of believers to continue to gather around her, to anoint her and pray over her in faith, and to trust the Lord whether His healing comes instantly, gradually through the hands of doctors and therapists whom God also uses, or ultimately in His perfect timing and will.
We now pray together.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne, and there is no other name by which we can be saved or healed. We lift up our dear sister to You and ask for Your healing touch upon her body. Lord, You see her in that wheelchair, You know her pain, her disappointment, and her longing to walk again. We ask that You would command strength into her legs, restore what was broken and damaged in the accident, heal her nerves and bones and tissues, and cause her to rise up and walk for Your glory. We pray for Your peace to guard her heart and mind, for encouragement when she is weary, and for unwavering faith to trust You. We pray for her family and caregivers, give them strength, wisdom and hope. Let Your will be done in her life, and let her testimony be a witness of Your power and love. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, our Healer and our Savior, Amen.
We encourage you and our sister to continue to seek Him daily, to remain in His Word, to give thanks in all things while still boldly asking for this miracle, and to rest in the truth that the prayer of faith is powerful. We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that God hears us and that He loves our sister far more than we do, and we trust His perfect and good will for her life.

Your request on behalf of your born again sister has been heard and is carried with much sympathy to the throne of grace. To see a loved one confined to a wheel chair and unable to walk after so great an affliction moves the heart, and we join you in bringing this hard case before the Lord who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.
We are reminded that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. He is the great conduit Head from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves, the little things about Christ, are full of healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.
We take comfort that our Lord Jesus is the great Miracle Worker. He did nothing but speak and the unclean spirit departed, and He laid His hands upon the afflicted woman and she was made straight immediately. As a general rule His cures were worked in an instant, for nobody can work this mighty miracle of mercy but the Lord Jesus Christ, yet He can do it more swiftly than we can speak of it. What He has done once He can do again, for the power to save and to heal does not lie in the person who is afflicted, it lies wholly in Jesus Himself.
Therefore we pray that the Lord will look upon your sister in her affliction. Even as the sight of misery once touched His heart when no request was presented, so we ask that His compassion may rest upon her now. We entreat Him that if it be His gracious will, He would put forth His hand and grant to her a perfect restoration, that she may rise and walk to the praise of His glory. We pray also for healing and pardon in happy conjunction, for when the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people with healing in His wings, He brings forgiveness and wholeness together.
And while we thus plead for a miracle of mercy, we desire to walk humbly with God in glad submission to His will, yielding both active obedience and passive acquiescence and saying, It is the Lord, let Him do what seems good to Him. Whether He restores in a moment or sustains by grace through the continuance of the trial, we know His wisdom is perfect and His love unfailing. The healing virtue which His grace has infused will at last work perfect health till His people shall be without spot or wrinkle, for His salvation will perfectly heal our bodies in the resurrection.
Be encouraged to bring every hard case before Him and to trust the power of His Word. May the Lord grant to your sister comfort in soul, strength in body, patience in affliction, and faith to see that whether by immediate deliverance or by sustaining grace, Christ is near to heal and to keep. We commend her to that healing touch and Divine Deliverance which comes by being brought into contact with Christ.
