A good and blessed job for my son

We come before the Lord with a heart full of hope and trust, lifting up your son and his need for a good and blessed job. Father God, You are the Provider of all good things, and we know that every perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17). Your Word assures us that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We stand on this promise today, believing that You have a plan and purpose for your son’s life, including his career and provision.

Lord, we ask that You open the right doors for him, doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Guide him to a job that not only meets his financial needs but also aligns with Your will for his life. May this job be a place where he can grow in wisdom, integrity, and faith, and where he can be a light for Your glory (Matthew 5:16). We pray that he would find favor with those in authority and that his skills and talents would be recognized and valued.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for your son as he seeks employment. Help him to trust in You with all his heart and not lean on his own understanding, acknowledging You in all his ways so that You can direct his paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Give him patience and peace as he waits on You, knowing that Your timing is perfect.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold of him during this time. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that he would walk in confidence, knowing that You are with him and that You will never leave him nor forsake him (Hebrews 13:5).

We also ask that You bless him with godly counsel and mentors who can speak into his life and career. Surround him with people who will encourage him in his faith and help him grow in his relationship with You. May he seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto him (Matthew 6:33).

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, and fill us with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We join you in praying for your son, asking for work is a deep and weighty thing, and your love for him shines through this request. It’s natural to want not just any job but a “blessed” one: a place where he can use his God-given strengths, be treated fairly, and sense God’s favor on his daily labor.

One of the most powerful things you can do, beyond your prayers, is speak a blessing over your son in this season. In Scripture, a parent’s blessing carried profound weight, it wasn’t just a wish, but an active impartation of value and hope for a special future. You might find a quiet moment to put your hand on his shoulder (or speak it over the phone) and tell him you see specific gifts in him: his perseverance, his integrity, the way he shows up for others. Name what you appreciate, and then voice your confidence that God sees these things too and will lead him to a job where those qualities can flourish. It’s not a formula, but it anchors his identity in something deeper than a paycheck, and it reminds both of you that God is already at work.

In the meantime, encourage your son toward practical steps rooted in who he is. If he hasn’t already, perhaps he can seek a mentor or a wise older friend in his field who can offer guidance, or take an honest inventory of the skills and experiences that give him energy. Sometimes God opens doors through the very relationships around us.

We pray: Father, thank you that you know this son completely, his abilities, his fears, and his hopes. Lead him to a job where he can work with dignity and honor, and where his labor will bless others. Guard him from discouragement, and give him patience and clarity as he waits. May your peace settle over this mother’s heart, trusting that you care for her son even more than she does. We ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

It is well that you cry out for your son, for intercessory prayer is exceedingly prevalent with God. What wonders it has wrought! Bring his case before the throne of grace, and let no doubt restrain your pleadings, you cast off fear, and restrain prayer before God. Nay, rather, order your cause with holy argument, as Job did, who in his extremity longed after the Lord more than the healing of his body. The Lord Himself drew near, and Job’s latter end was more blessed than the beginning. Even so, the way to a true blessing may lead through a low estate, but He who sees light in the clouds will not fail you.

Do not fix your hope merely upon a good employment, as if that were the sum of all blessing. The blessedness that endures is in hearing the Word of God and keeping it. Men shall be blessed in Him, Christ Jesus, in whom all blessings are stored and through whom every mercy flows. If your son is brought low in his own esteem, seeing his need of the Saviour, then he is already on the path of the blessed. Teach him to pray, not with empty words but from the very warp and woof of his being, and so shall he find that the Lord does give grace and glory.

Keep your mouth full of songs even in the night, for the Lord’s chastening is blessed discipline, teaching us the value of prayer. The good you seek is not beyond His power; it is a small thing for Him who gave His Son to give a daily provision. I join my faith with yours, believing that as you plead the promises, He will attend. The curse of want is turned into a blessing for those who trust. Be of good courage, the blessing of the Lord maketh rich, and He adds no sorrow with it. Pray on, and expect.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a mother's love that seeks a good and blessed employment for her child. Yet let us take care that we first seek what is truly good and blessed in the sight of God. For many count a job blessed when it brings comfort and wealth, but the Scripture teaches that the blessed man is he whom the Lord finds faithful, watching and doing His will, even in hardship. Remember Job, who when stripped of all, did not charge God foolishly, but said, "The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." His blessedness was not in his camels and herds, but in his unwavering trust.

Therefore, let us not be curious or over-busy, dictating to God what form His provision must take. Instead, pray that your son may seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, knowing that all else will be added. Pray that he may be exercised beforehand in thanksgiving and patience, so that whether he receives abundance or walks in want, he may do all things through Christ who strengthens him, giving thanks in every state. For the enemy desires not to take away our goods, but through them to compel our lips to blasphemy or despondency.

A job that the world calls good may become a snare if it draws the heart from God; and what seems a humble position may be the school of virtue. Let us weep for our sins and mourn for our attachment to passing things, for such tears are blessed, and we shall laugh on that day when Christ our great God and Savior appears. Commend your son to God, asking not for a particular station, but that he may be found so doing, a servant faithful in little and in much, and whatever work his hand finds, to do it heartily as to the Lord. This is the blessed job: to be in the place where God sets him, with a thankful and obedient soul.

Your son is on your heart, and it is right to bring that burden to the Lord. In a story far older than most of Scripture, a man lost everything, and his friends came convinced that his suffering must be payback for hidden sin. They were wrong. God Himself had said the man was upright and blameless, yet calamity still came. Not every hardship is the bill for some secret wrong; sometimes what is unseen to us is a weightier matter playing out in places we cannot see.

The accuser argued that the man only followed God because of the blessings he received. He proposed that if those blessings were stripped away, the man would curse God to His face. That challenge was allowed for a time, not because the man had failed, but precisely because he was faithful. Your son’s search for a good and blessed job does not mean he, or you, have somehow fallen out of favor. It means you are in a season where trust is being tested, and God’s regard for you is not measured by the speed of an open door.

That ancient sufferer cried out for someone to stand between him and God, to lay a hand on both. He longed for a daysman, a mediator. We now know that cry was answered in Jesus Christ. He is the one who bridges every gap, and through Him we have access to the Father even when the reasons for our waiting remain hidden. You are not pleading into a thick cloud. You are speaking to the God who sees clearly and who knows the plans He has for your son.

The friends kept urging the man to just get right with God, as if a quick fix would restore everything. But the path to peace is not a transaction. It is to acquaint yourself with the Lord and to hide His words in your heart, not to earn a job but to know Him in the waiting. The Lord’s chastening, when it comes, is not rejection; it is a mark of belonging. Yet not every trial is that correction. Some trials simply declare that our lives are held in a larger story, and God is still bragging on His own even when they sit in ashes for a time.

Hold to the truth that Jesus endured a kind of stripping that mirrors what that man lost. If God allowed His own Son to be handed over to the ungodly, then moments of bewilderment are not evidence of abandonment. They are often the place where a deeper work takes root. Patience is not passive surrender; it is the steady trust that God’s purposes are moving even when our eyes see only delay.

Pray with confidence that your son would know the Lord’s guidance, that he would not despise the season but find wisdom and humility in it. And as you pray, rest in this: the same God who finally spoke out of the whirlwind and restored what had been taken is the God who tends to your son now. He has not forgotten. Good will come, in His way and in His time.
