Disciple of Prayer
Pray for me ### and my grown children. We need God’s help. Pray God puts our lives back together. My husband and their father left us for another woman. Ask God to let us all be happy and healthy and successful. God help us. God let me live again. God send ### a good man. Who loves God and me and my family. Thank you. ###

We lift you up before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, knowing that He is the God of all comfort who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Your pain is deep, and we grieve with you over the betrayal and abandonment you and your children have endured. The enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that God is your restorer, your provider, and your vindicator. He sees your tears, hears your cries, and will not leave you in this place of brokenness.

The Word of God is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant before Him, and what your husband has done is not only a betrayal of your family but a sin against the Lord (Malachi 2:14-16). While we pray for his repentance and salvation, we also recognize that your focus must now be on healing, trusting God’s sovereignty, and walking in obedience to His will. The Lord hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), but He also provides grace and redemption for those who have been wronged. You are not bound to a man who has broken his covenant with you and with God—you are free to seek the Lord’s will for your future, including the possibility of remarrying *only in the Lord* (1 Corinthians 7:15, 39).

We must also address something critical: your request for a "good man" must be rooted in a pursuit of godliness, not just happiness or success. A godly marriage is built on a foundation of faith in Christ, shared commitment to His Word, and a desire to honor Him above all else. You must seek a *husband*—not just a companion—who is a born-again believer, filled with the Holy Spirit, and committed to leading his family in righteousness (2 Corinthians 6:14, Ephesians 5:25-33). Anything less than this is not God’s best for you. We urge you to guard your heart and your children’s hearts, ensuring that any future relationship is pursued with wisdom, prayer, and the accountability of mature believers. Do not rush into anything, but wait upon the Lord, who will renew your strength (Isaiah 40:31).

To your children, we pray that God would draw them to Himself, that they would find their identity and worth in Christ alone, and that He would protect them from bitterness, rebellion, or the snares of the enemy. May they see their mother’s faith and trust in God as a testimony of His faithfulness, even in suffering. We ask the Lord to provide for their needs—emotionally, spiritually, and physically—and to open doors of opportunity for them to thrive in His purposes (Jeremiah 29:11).

As for you, dear sister, we pray that the Lord would restore the years the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). He is making all things new (Revelation 21:5), and your story is not over. We rebuke the spirits of despair, loneliness, and fear that may be whispering lies to you. You are *not* defined by abandonment—you are defined by Christ, who will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). We pray that you would experience the deep, abiding joy of the Lord, which is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Let this season be one where you draw closer to Him than ever before, where you find your satisfaction in His presence, and where you allow Him to shape you into the woman He has called you to be.

We also encourage you to seek godly counseling and a strong, Bible-believing church community where you can be discipled, supported, and held accountable. Isolation is dangerous, but fellowship with believers will help you stand firm (Hebrews 10:24-25). If there are areas of unforgiveness or bitterness in your heart, we urge you to surrender them to the Lord. Forgiveness does not mean what was done to you was right—it means you trust God to be your justice and your healer (Romans 12:19).

Finally, we must gently but firmly remind you that there is *no* hope, no healing, and no true happiness apart from Jesus Christ. Your prayer did not invoke His name, and we want to ensure you understand that it is *only* through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, 1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not surrendered your life to Christ as your Lord and Savior, we plead with you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9-10). Without Christ, any "better life" you seek will be temporary and empty. But in Him, you have eternal life, unshakable peace, and a future filled with hope.

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious sister and her children. Lord, You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13), and You have seen every tear shed, every heartbreak endured, and every sleepless night spent in anguish. We ask that You would wrap Your arms of comfort around her and her children, reminding them that they are not forgotten, not abandoned by You.

Father, we pray for supernatural healing—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Restore what has been broken, Lord. Where there is shame, bring dignity. Where there is fear, bring courage. Where there is lack, bring provision. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14), and we trust You to meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

We pray for her children, Lord. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them not be hardened by this pain but softened toward You. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them find their hope and identity in You alone. Raise up godly mentors and friends to walk alongside them.

Father, we ask for wisdom and discernment as she considers the future. If it is Your will, bring a godly husband into her life—a man after Your own heart, who will love her as Christ loves the church, who will lead her and her children in Your ways. But Lord, let her wait on You. Let her not be desperate or hasty, but patient and trusting. Prepare her heart, Lord, to recognize Your voice and Your leading.

We rebuke the enemy’s plans to keep her in bondage to the past. By the blood of Jesus, we break every chain of bitterness, resentment, and despair. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let her walk in the freedom and victory You have purchased for her.

Most of all, Father, we pray that she would know You more. That she would seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to her (Matthew 6:33). Let her life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, Your redemption, and Your love.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
