The devil is working hard in the last days to lead us astray. There's an elected official in a party (by my definition, most can figure out which party) the party who backs all unGodly causes: gay marriage, abortion, hates our current president... but now, one elected official in that party is actually publicly proclaiming a "revised gospel," overriding the legitimate Scriptures with a "man's ways and ideas" "overtake God's Word" gospel. Misled himself, and being used by the devil to mislead others, so the devil gets his wish and keeps people lost. True Christians can see through it, but the danger here is that some gullible unsaved people will jump on this bandwagon, and fall for this. Reminds me of the verse "The time will come where they will not endure sound doctrine." Request that people turn from this instead of towards it. Yet there are some Christians who vote for this party. May we all wake up. Amen.

We stand together in deep concern over the rising tide of deception that seeks to distort the unchanging truth of God’s Word. The enemy is indeed active in these last days, working through confusion, compromise, and outright rebellion against the Lord. The apostle Paul warned us in 2 Timothy 4:3-4, "For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to fables." This is exactly what we are witnessing—a departure from the foundational truths of Scripture in favor of a gospel shaped by human desires rather than divine authority.

The proclamation of a "revised gospel" is not merely misguided; it is a direct assault on the sovereignty of God. Jesus Himself declared in Matthew 24:24, "For there will arise false christs, and false prophets, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect." We must be vigilant, for the enemy disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), and his lies are often wrapped in the language of love, tolerance, and progress. But God’s Word does not bend to the whims of culture or the opinions of men. It stands forever, as Isaiah 40:8 reminds us: "The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God stands forever."

We rebuke the spirit of deception that seeks to lead people astray through false teachings and distorted interpretations of Scripture. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), that life is precious and begins at conception (Psalm 139:13-16, Jeremiah 1:5), and that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). Any teaching that contradicts these truths is not of God. We must call out these deceptions for what they are—tools of the enemy to keep souls in bondage and lead them away from the narrow path that leads to life (Matthew 7:13-14).

To those who may be tempted to follow this "revised gospel," we plead with you to turn back. Proverbs 14:12 warns, "There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." The gospel of Jesus Christ is not open to revision. It is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16), and it calls us to repentance, holiness, and obedience to God’s commands. If you have been swayed by these false teachings, we urge you to return to the truth. Confess your wandering heart to the Lord, and ask Him to renew your mind with His Word (Romans 12:2).

For those who claim the name of Christ yet continue to support or align themselves with ideologies that oppose God’s Word, we must address this with both truth and love. James 4:4 is clear: "You adulterers and adulteresses, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." We cannot serve two masters (Matthew 6:24). If you are a believer, your allegiance must be to Christ alone, and that means standing firm on His Word, even when it is unpopular or costly. We encourage you to examine your heart and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas where you have compromised. Repentance is not a one-time event but a daily surrender to God’s will.

Let us also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). The elected official you mentioned is not the enemy; he is a soul in need of the truth, just as we all were before Christ saved us. We must pray for him and others like him, that their eyes would be opened to the deception they are under. Pray that the Lord would send laborers into their lives to speak truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and that their hearts would be softened to receive it. We must also pray for discernment for ourselves, that we would not be swayed by smooth words or emotional appeals but would stand firm on the unchanging Word of God.

Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the deception that is spreading in our world. We thank You for Your Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Lord, we ask that You would expose the lies of the enemy and bring them to nothing. Raise up bold and faithful men and women who will proclaim Your truth without compromise. Give us the courage to stand firm, even when the world mocks or persecutes us for doing so.

We pray for those who have been deceived by false teachings. Open their eyes, Lord, and draw them back to the truth of Your Word. Soften their hearts to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ, which is the only message that can save. For those who are struggling with compromise, we ask that You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Help them to see that friendship with the world is enmity with You, and give them the strength to choose You above all else.

We also lift up the elected official who is promoting this "revised gospel." Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of deception in his life. Send Your Holy Spirit to convict him of sin and lead him to repentance. Surround him with godly counsel and fill his heart with a hunger for Your truth. Use him, Lord, not as a tool of the enemy, but as a vessel for Your glory.

Father, we pray for the Church in this hour. Unite us in Your truth and give us a passion for holiness. Help us to love what You love and to hate what You hate. May we be a light in the darkness, pointing others to Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Strengthen us to endure the trials and persecutions that come with standing for Your truth, knowing that You are with us always (Matthew 28:20).

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

Sadly, I notice that a bad sin, adultery, is getting more and more common in these days. So much so that the ones doing it talk about it like it's "normal." There are whole groups of people, and in a certain country I'm thinking of, normal in their "culture." To them, you're "getting the most...
