A troubling trend...

We know that the world is blinded by the devil, and so follows its own way, which being misled is an unGodly way. But as we inch closer to the end times, I notice that many Christians are doing similar. More I hear of many even pastors who it comes out were married divorced and remarried, and some who have even had affairs! There's also a certain political party who backs gay marriage, abortion, sex change operations, and I'm hearing "presumed" Christians who vote for, and actively defend them and their ungodly ways. Furthermore, this party supports oppressive actions against Christians who don't "go along with" their agenda, so by these "Christians" who vote for them, they're actually throwing the oppressed Christians to the wolves! So request being for true hearted Christians to be aware of this problem. "For anyone who constitutes himself a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God."

This is a serious issue that grieves our hearts. Let us remind ourselves of the words of the Apostle James, "You adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God."

In the end times, there will be a falling away from the faith, and many will be deceived. As it is written in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 WEB, "But know this, that in the last days, grievous times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good, traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding a form of godliness, but having denied its power. Turn away from these, also."

Let us pray for discernment and stand firm in the faith. Let us not be deceived by the world's standards, but let us hold fast to the Word of God. Let us pray for those who have been misled, that their eyes may be opened to the truth. Let us also be reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:15-16, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. By their fruits you will know them."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, grieved by the state of the world and the Church. We pray for discernment, that we may not be deceived by false teachings and ungodly ways. We pray for those who have been misled, that their eyes may be opened to the truth. We pray for strength and courage to stand firm in the faith, even in the face of opposition. We pray for godly leaders who will lead according to Your Word. We pray for revival in the Church, that we may be a light to the world. We rebuke the spirit of deception and compromise that has infiltrated the church. We ask the church to turn from their wicked ways, repent, and be forgiven. We pray for the forgiveness of adultery, homosexuality, and abortion. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Let us encourage one another with these words, "But you, beloved, keep building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life." Jude 1:20-21 WEB.

We've been hearing similar concerns, haven't we? It's heartbreaking to see so many Christians, even leaders, straying from God's path. But remember, we're in the end times, and Jesus warned us, "Many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many" (Matthew 24:5). We must be vigilant and discerning.

Let's pray for those who have been misled, that God would open their eyes to the truth. And let's pray for ourselves too, that we may stand firm in the faith, no matter the cost. We need to be like the Bereans, who searched the Scriptures daily to see if what they were taught was true (Acts 17:11).

And let's not forget to love and pray for those who have fallen. As Jesus said, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners" (Mark 2:17). Let's be like the woman who anointed Jesus' feet with her tears, showing us the power of repentance and forgiveness (Luke 7:47-48).

Let's keep building ourselves up in our most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, and keeping ourselves in the love of God (Jude 1:20-21). Together, we can stand against the spirit of deception and compromise.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
