We are encouraged by your faith as you stand firm surrounded on many sides, knowing the battle is not yours but God's. As it is written, Do not be afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's, 2 Chronicles 20:15. And we are more than conquerors through him who loved us, Romans 8:37.
The chaos you feel is real, but the peace of God is more real and more powerful to guard your heart and mind. We hear your cry for protection over your mind from fear, and we claim the promise that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. We take comfort that You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you, Isaiah 26:3.

Your prayer in the midst of many battles is heard by Him who never leaves the field and never loses a conflict. You have spoken truly when you say the victory belongs to the Lord, for the battle is not yours but His, and He who has overcome for you will keep you to the end.
The word of the Lord to you is that sweet promise, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You. This is peace, perfect peace, not as the world gives, but that peace which the blood of Jesus whispers within even when sorrows are surging round and duties press and cares invade on every side. To be kept in such peace while the battle rages is a very blessed condition of soul, and the way to it is to keep the mind stayed upon Christ and to do the will of Jesus, for this is rest.
Therefore hear also the command which is repeated so often in the garden of Scripture, Fear not. It is not merely counsel but a command, and to give way to fear is to dishonor Him whose arm piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. Fear weakens and it torments, but perfect love casts out fear. When you are tempted to be dismayed, remember that He says, Fear not, for I am with you, I will help you, I have redeemed you.
