We join you in lifting up your ten year old son before the throne of grace and we thank God with you for the favor you have seen on his life and for his strong faith in Jesus at such a young age. It is a beautiful thing to see a child believing so firmly in the Lord and we rejoice with you over that.
We hear your concern for the physical symptoms he is experiencing, the headaches and dizziness and changes in his vision and seeing colour, the persistent cough and the weakness in his legs. We also hear your discernment that this feels like an attack from the enemy, and we agree that when God has His hand on a life the enemy often tries to bring discouragement and affliction. Scripture reminds us that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. We are also told to be sober and self-controlled, for your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, but to withstand him steadfast in your faith 1 Peter 5:8-9. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4.
We also believe that God is our healer and that He cares deeply for this child. He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3. By His wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We cling to His promise that He will restore health to us and heal us of our wounds Jeremiah 30:17. And we take comfort that He will give His angels charge over us, to guard us in all our ways Psalm 91:11.
We encourage you to continue to cover your son in prayer and in the Word, and also to seek wise medical care promptly for these symptoms. Headaches with dizziness, visual changes, persistent cough and leg weakness should be evaluated by a doctor without delay, and we trust God often works through the hands of physicians as part of His healing. We also encourage you to pray over him, lay hands on him and anoint him as Scripture says, Is any among you sick Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:14-15. Keep nurturing his faith, reading Scripture with him and reminding him that God is near and that perfect love casts out fear 1 John 4:18.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, and we thank You for this precious ten year old son who loves You strongly. We thank You for Your favor upon his life and we ask for Your continued hand of protection over him. We ask in Jesus name that You would touch his body and bring complete healing. We rebuke every sickness and infirmity and every attack of the enemy against him and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We pray You would remove the headaches and dizziness, restore clear vision, heal his lungs and take away the persistent cough, and strengthen his legs and his whole body. Let Your healing virtue flow through him and let him feel Your peace and presence. We pray You would guard his mind and heart and let no weapon formed against him prosper. Strengthen his faith even more through this trial and let his testimony bring glory to You. Give wisdom to his parents and to the doctors who care for him, and give this family peace that passes all understanding as they trust in You. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, by whom alone we have access to You and in whose name there is salvation and healing, Amen.

We are holding you and your son in our hearts as you bring this to prayer. Watching a ten year old who loves Jesus struggle with headaches, dizziness, changes in vision, a cough that will not let up, and weakness in his legs is so hard, and we understand why your heart feels this so urgently and why it feels like a spiritual battle when you see God's favor on his life.

We have received your burden concerning your ten year old son and we take it tenderly to the throne of grace with you. To hear of headache and dizziness and strange seeing of colours, with persistent cough and weakness in his legs, is indeed to feel a father's and mother's anxiety stirred, and we do not wonder that you discern the malice of the adversary in it.
We come to the little ones with words of good cheer, for they need them and we have special orders from our Master to see that they are tenderly comforted. Here then for your youthful believer is confidence. He has begun to be a Christian, and you are to put your reliance upon the working of the eternal power and Godhead within his soul, for there is the fountain of Grace and from there the streams must flow. No machinations of Hell or craft of the Prince of Darkness can ever prevent the Lord from bringing about the consummation of His promise for which His Church is daily praying.
You do well to see both the hand of the enemy and the favour of God upon his life. Yet remember also that our afflictions may come distinctly from man or from the adversary, and yet they may come with even greater certainty from the Lord and may be the necessary outcome of His special love to us. When a believer is in trouble he derives great comfort from his reliance upon the compassion of God. The Lord scourges His children but He does not slay them. It is not killing but curing that God means when He takes the sharp lancet in His hands. Surely there is nothing better for a man of God than to perceive that his smarts and sorrows come from his Father's hand, for then he will say, The will of the Lord be done.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, they are too painful to let us slumber in silence and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. Neglect not the help of the physician while you look above all to the Great Physician. And let this be your prayer from the heart, O God, let the Sun of Righteousness arise upon him with healing in His wings, for he trusts and fears Your name. For Christ is called the Sun of Righteousness, and they that fear His name shall find healing. He healeth the broken in heart and He healeth the body also according to His wise and tender will.
We pray with you now that the Lord who has looked down from the height of His sanctuary to hear the groaning of the prisoner will look upon your son in pity. We ask that God who has given commandment to save His children will save him from going down to the pit, for He has found a ransom in His own dear Son. Deliverance from the power of sin and deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and if He has delivered us from the tremendous power of sin He will certainly deliver us from all else that assails us. That voice you shall always hear if you are a child of God, when you get into peril and trouble, God has given commandment to save you and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, saved from the devil.
Trust the Lord Jesus for everything for your son. Do not trust Him halfway but for all things commit this dear child into His eternal keeping, for He is able to keep him from falling and to present him faultless before His presence with exceeding great joy. May the Lord rebuke the affliction, quiet his head and clear his sight, ease his cough and strengthen his legs, and cause His favour to shine more brightly upon him. And may He sustain your own heart as you watch and wait upon Him, plowing in the Master's service till the time shall come for the yoke to be taken from your neck.

We join you in prayer for your ten year old son and we thank God for his young faith in Jesus Christ. We have heard your concern about his headache, dizziness, changes in his vision with seeing colors, persistent cough, and weakness in his legs, and we understand why you sense a spiritual weight in this, especially when you see God's favor resting on his life.
We pray for him now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, we bring this child before you. You know his body and his soul. We ask for your mercy and healing upon him. Touch his head and take away the pain and dizziness, clear his vision, ease his cough, and strengthen his legs. Give him rest, strength, and full health again. Guard him from every work of the enemy and let no weapon formed against him prosper. We ask that you make your presence known to him and to his family, that his faith which is already strong for his age would be strengthened even more, and that he would know that Jesus is near to heal and to save. We pray for peace for you as his parent, and for wisdom for all who care for him.
We encourage you to continue to look to Christ alone for help and healing. He is the true physician of soul and body, and He often works through the skill and care of doctors and medical treatment to bring healing. Because your son has several concerning symptoms together, please have him seen promptly by a doctor so that he can be examined and receive proper care. As you seek medical help, keep praying and trusting the Lord, and put your confidence not in charms or amulets or other such things, but in the simple and powerful protection of the Cross and in prayer in Jesus name.
Christ cares for both body and soul, and His greatest work is to draw us closer to Himself. We pray not only for relief from these physical troubles, but that through this trial your son and your whole family would grow in faith, know the comfort of God's Word, and experience His sustaining grace day by day.
