Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have been lifting you up before the Lord and we remember that you shared you are back again and still struggling with masturbation and that you asked for prayer for it to stop and for the brain fog to go away. You shared honestly that you continue to struggle and that you feel like you have no brain at all, and we want you to know we have continued to pray for you with compassion and without judgment.
We have been praying that God will give you strength to flee from temptation and to walk in purity, and that He will renew your mind and clear the fog and heaviness you are feeling. We pray that the Lord will create in you a clean heart and restore clarity and peace to your mind as it says in Psalm 51:10 and Rom 12:2. We also claim the promise in 1 Cor 10:13 that God is faithful and will provide a way of escape when you are tempted, and we pray that He will help you to walk in the Spirit so you will not gratify the desires of the flesh as we read in Gal 5:16.
We pray for you now. Father, we bring our brother before You and ask for Your mercy and grace over his life. We ask that You break this cycle and set him free, that You wash him and strengthen him to resist temptation, that You renew his mind and take away the fog and confusion and restore him to clarity and wholeness. Help him to fix his thoughts on what is pure and true and to find accountability and strength in You. We ask for healing for his mind and body and for hope where he feels discouraged. We pray all of this in Jesus Name.
