Beloved of All
DEAR GOD, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE. AMEN. I AM SCARED. PLEASE LET NO HARM COME TO ME. AMEN.

We hear the fear in your heart, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your cry to the Lord who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The repetition of your plea reveals the depth of your distress, and we want you to know that God hears every word, even those spoken in trembling. The name of Jesus is the only name by which we approach the Father, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Him that we find true safety, not just from physical harm, but from the power of sin, death, and the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10).

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who delivers. We ask You to surround this dear one with Your angels, as You promise in Psalm 91:11-12: "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Lord, be a shield about them, a fortress of peace, and a strong tower from the face of their enemies. Calm their heart with the assurance that You are with them, that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).

We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip their mind and heart, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we ask You to flood their soul with Your perfect love. Let them feel Your presence like a warm embrace, reminding them that they are Your beloved child, precious in Your sight.

Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin in their life that may be hindering their peace, we ask You to reveal it to them with gentleness. If they have walked in disobedience or turned away from Your ways, draw them back with cords of love. Your Word says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We pray for repentance and restoration where it is needed, that they may walk in the freedom and safety of Your will.

We also lift up any specific dangers or threats they may be facing. Whether these are physical, spiritual, or emotional, we ask You to intervene. If there are people or circumstances that seek to harm them, we ask You to thwart those plans and turn them for good, as You promise in Romans 8:28: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We encourage you to meditate on the promises of God’s Word, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). Speak these truths over your life daily:
- "The LORD is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1)
- "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas." (Psalm 46:1-2)
- "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the LORD’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says the LORD." (Isaiah 54:17)

If your fear is rooted in past trauma, we pray for healing and deliverance. Jesus came to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and to set at liberty those who are bruised (Isaiah 61:1). We ask You, Lord, to bring healing to every wound, to restore what has been stolen, and to replace fear with Your perfect peace.

Finally, we ask You to draw this dear one into a deeper relationship with You. May they seek You not just in times of fear, but in every moment of their life. Let them know the joy of walking with You daily, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty. We pray that they would grow in faith, hope, and love, and that they would become a testimony of Your faithfulness to others who are afraid.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We are glad you reached out. Being scared can make everything feel dangerous and out of control, and we are sorry you are carrying that right now. You are not alone. God sees you exactly where you are, and your repeated prayer for safety is a real prayer. We are adding our voices to it.

One thing that can help when fear is loud is to name it out loud to someone you trust. Speaking what you are afraid of can shrink its hold. If the fear keeps washing over you or makes it hard to eat, sleep, or get through the day, please reach out to a pastor, counselor, or doctor. Getting help is a wise form of safety, not weakness.

Lord Jesus, we ask You to keep this person safe in every way that matters to You. Protect them from real harm, and when fear lies to them, help them know the difference between the dread repeating in their mind and the truth that You are near. Give them one calm, clear next step, and send someone trustworthy to stand with them. In Your name, amen.

Your trembling cry has gone up before the Lord, and He meets it with His own word: Fear not. You feel as weak as a worm, and well you may, but the Lord says to His worm Jacob, Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord. Then why should you fear?

You have asked to be kept safe. That is right, for God is a hiding place to His people. Yet remember this: your safety lies in trusting Jesus, not in the sharpness of your terror. He says, Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. This command is absolute and unqualified. It does not say, Fear only a little; it says, Fear not at all. Be not dismayed at all.

Fear is weakening, and it dishonors the Omnipotent. Why should a child of God be afraid of man, or of any earthly danger? If you are in Christ, no true harm can come to you. They may kill the body, but after that there is nothing more they can do. Your soul is safe in the keeping of Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. His throne might sooner fail than that a saint can perish, for His throne is established in righteousness.

So I would have you add this prayer to your cry for safety: Lord, still my unbelieving fear, and let me not fall. Then go your way, trusting Jesus. Fear not. The Lord is your keeper.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is good that you fled to God with your fear. But do not remain only in the cry of terror. God answers, not by promising that no trouble will ever come near you, but by making you safe in the only way that matters.

Consider what makes a person tremble. The one who is conscious of no evil does not go about frightened. But the one who lives in unrepented sin is never confident: he fears even his own thoughts, and his conscience accuses him even in quiet. So if your fear comes from some wrong, do not hide it. Repent, make restitution, turn from covetousness or injustice. For covetousness treats us like an enemy and fills life with accusations; but justice makes our affairs safe and even our sleep peaceful.

I do not say this to crush you. I say it so that your prayer may become a labor and not an idle wish. A man who sits in a decaying house and only cries out, Let it not fall, gains nothing. But if he rises and works to move to a strong room, his labor gives him confidence. Turn your fear into earnestness. Examine your life, clean your conscience, keep the commandments, and cling to Christ. Labor, not panic, is the road to safety.

And when trials still come, do not demand to be delivered the very moment you are afraid. The Lord allowed His disciples to face danger and did not appear to them at once, teaching them to bear all things manfully. Prepare yourself against danger, even against death, by following Christ. The one who is with Him is in safety; if you do not separate yourself from Him, no lasting harm can touch you.

So pray without ceasing, but let your prayer be joined to repentance and obedience. Then the Lord will be your stronghold. And if suffering comes, it will not be the ruin of your soul, because resurrection and life are on the other side for those who follow Him.

Your repeated prayer shows how heavy this fear feels, and God hears every word of it. He knows you are scared and He invites you to bring that fear honestly to Him.

God wants you to live in peace, not in constant dread. Scripture says He will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts in Him. Jesus said to His disciples, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. That is not just peace with God when your sins are forgiven through Jesus, but also the peace of God that guards your heart when you keep your eyes on Him.

Remembering the Lord is the cure for fear. When you forget Him, fear grows. When you remember Him, faith grows. Fear and faith cannot rule in the heart at the same time. Where fear takes over, faith is pushed out, and where trust in God is strong, fear must leave. David said, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. That is the key, you are not alone. The Lord is with you.

The Bible says the Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear. The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid. In the time of trouble He will hide you and be your shelter. Do not be afraid of sudden fear or what might happen, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being taken. He also says, fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God, I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my right hand.

So bring your worry to Him in prayer, with thanksgiving, and let Him know what you need. His promise is that the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. His thoughts toward you are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope. When you call upon Him and pray, He will listen.

You can pray like this. Lord, I am afraid and I need You. Forgive my sins through Jesus and make me at peace with You. Help me to keep my mind on You and to trust You. Be my light and my strength. Fill me with Your peace that is beyond understanding and keep me safe in Your care. I trust You to be with me and to uphold me. In Jesus name, amen.

If fear rises again, turn it into a reminder to remember Him. Speak His promises back to Him, keep your mind stayed on Him, and do what is wise and prudent without being driven by fear. He is able to keep you and to give you His peace.
