We hear the deep concern and love in your heart for your sister, and we join you in bringing this burden before the Lord. It is clear that her suffering has been prolonged, and her silence about what she is facing only adds to the weight you both carry. We want to encourage you, your instinct to turn to prayer is the most powerful thing you can do. The Lord hears the cries of His children, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

First, we must address something critical: you mentioned praying "so God may heal her," but you did not invoke the name of Jesus or acknowledge Him as the only mediator between God and man. Scripture is clear, there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Christ is the Great Physician, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5). It is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If your sister does not know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, her greatest need is not just physical healing but eternal salvation. We must pray for her soul first, for what does it profit a person to gain the whole world and lose their soul? (Mark 8:36).

Now, let us lift her up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who heals. We lift up ’s sister to You, Lord, for You know every detail of her suffering, even the things she has not spoken aloud. You knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You know the number of her days. We ask, Father, that You would reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. Draw her to Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and let her experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, if there is unconfessed sin in her life, convict her gently by Your Holy Spirit and lead her to repentance. If there is fear, anxiety, or despair, replace it with Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). If her body is afflicted, we ask for Your healing touch, whether through medical means, supernatural intervention, or both. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and we trust in Your power to restore her.

We also pray for wisdom for . Give her discernment to know how to love and support her sister without enabling or neglecting boundaries. Help her to speak truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and to point her sister to Christ in every conversation. Guard ’s heart from fear and anxiety, reminding her that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or oppression that may be at work in ’s sister’s life. In the name of Jesus, we command it to leave and declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, health, and wholeness over her body, mind, and spirit. Let Your will be done in her life, Lord, whether that means healing in this life or the promise of eternal healing in Your presence.

We trust You, Father, for You are good, and Your mercy endures forever (Psalm 136:1). Strengthen ’s faith as she waits on You, and let her see Your hand at work in ways she never expected. May this trial draw both sisters closer to You and to one another.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

To you, dear sister in Christ, we want to leave you with this encouragement: Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Your sister’s healing may not come in the way or timing you expect, but God is faithful. Keep praying, keep loving her, and keep trusting in the Lord with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). If she is open to it, gently share the hope you have in Christ, it may be the very thing she needs to break her silence and find true healing.

If her condition is deteriorating, consider gently encouraging her to seek godly medical counsel or the support of a pastor or biblical counselor. Sometimes, the Lord uses these means to bring about His healing. Above all, remind her that her worth is not defined by her health but by the love of Christ, who gave Himself for her (Galatians 2:20).

We’re joining you in lifting your sister up to God, and we’re glad you reached out. The love behind your words is unmistakable, and it’s clear this has weighed heavily on you for a long time. Watching someone we care about struggle without knowing exactly what’s wrong can feel like a slow, draining standstill. We often wish we could just fix it, and when we can’t, the worry sits deep.

Sometimes when a person faces illness that drags on, they begin to feel fragile and can pull inward. It may not be that she refuses to tell anyone because she wants to keep you out; she might feel overwhelmed or not have the words to describe what’s happening herself. That doesn’t make it easier for you, of course, but it may help to remember that her silence might not be about a lack of trust, just a heavy load that’s hard to put into words.

One quiet step you can take is simply to keep showing up with low-pressure presence. Instead of asking “What’s wrong?” you might just say, “I’m here, and I’m not going anywhere.” Your steady, undemanding care can be a lifeline even when she can’t explain. And if you sense her symptoms are getting worse, a gentle nudge toward a doctor’s evaluation, offered as an act of love, not pressure, can be a wise companion to prayer.

In the meantime, we stand with you. We’re asking God to give you a gentle patience and to guard your own heart from exhaustion. He sees what you don’t see, and he’s not distant from her pain or from your tears.

Lord, you know every hidden part of this beloved sister’s body and mind. Please bring accurate insight to any medical professional involved, and grant her courage to take whatever next steps she needs. Quiet her fears and draw her toward healing in your timing. Calm this sister who carries such deep concern, and remind her that you are the one who never slumbers or sleeps over those we love. We ask all of this in Jesus’ name.

The Lord who counts the stars and calls them all by name is not puzzled by the unknown sorrow of your sister. Her silence may hide a wound of soul too deep for speech, yet nothing is hidden from His eye. In the secret chamber of her heart there dwells a bitterness which only He can taste, a pain which only He can measure. But do not let the unknown drive you to despair; let it drive you to the throne of grace. He has given you this promise: “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Even when you cannot name the trial, you may bring it to the God who knows it altogether.

Think upon the Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. A word, a touch, a look, these are the leaves that restore the sick soul. It is not needful to catalogue every ache to the Great Physician; the palsied man was brought to Jesus without a single word describing his ailment, and the Lord saw faith and spoke forgiveness first, then healing. Pardon and healing lie side by side in the hand of the Crucified. Where one is given, the other cannot long be absent. Lay hold of this truth for your sister’s sake: the blood that cleanses from sin is the balm that soothes every hidden wound.

Your distress over her is the very tool of love with which you may carry her to Jesus. Just as four men broke up the roof to lower the sufferer into His presence, so your prayers break through all barriers of silence and fear. Faith can move where the sufferer cannot walk. Cry out for her, and do not cease, for there are seasons when the healing power of the Lord is especially present, when His Word is preached, when His people gather, when mercy makes glad the hearts of the weary. Bring her again and again, by your intercessions, into that sacred hour.

Remember this also: she may scarcely know herself what is amiss. The heart can be a labyrinth full of unknown chambers, and the spirit may be sick from causes quite beyond our mortal reasoning. Yet the Lord who built the house knows every corner of it. He sees the hidden fracture, the inward wasting, the secret tear. And His word to you both is this: “I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely.” Do not fix your hope upon your own understanding of her state, but upon the abundant mercy of Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.

I shall indeed lift up my voice with yours and with the whole church here, calling upon Him who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. May the Sun of Righteousness arise upon her with healing in His wings, bringing light into the darkness and wholeness out of the long decay. Trust the Great Physician and watch for His answer. He never yet turned away a soul that sought Him through the intercession of another’s faith.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You are right to be anxious for your sister, and to call upon God with many others for her healing. This is the very bond of Christ’s body, that we bear one another’s burdens. But let your prayer be joined with thanksgiving, as the Apostle teaches, even when the sight of her suffering troubles you. For if we only plead in fear, we risk dullness of hearing and growing weary, but when we give thanks even before the answer, we show true faith.

Consider Lazarus: the Lord said his sickness was not unto death, yet Lazarus died and was buried. The sisters were not offended, because they trusted the word of Christ above what their eyes saw. So here, even if the illness deepens and she will not speak of it, do not let this shake your hope. God knows what lies hidden in her body and soul, and His delay or silence is not neglect.

Do not think that because you are earnest, you have no need of the prayers of others. Paul himself relied on the Church’s intercession. So continue to gather the faithful, but also examine your own heart, that you may not in your grief utter any word of bitterness or despair, even inwardly. A mouth that prays must be kept pure from all accusation; for we are commanded to bless, not to curse.

And if your sister hides her pain, wait for her in love. Perhaps she condemns herself or is ashamed; such self-condemnation, rightly borne, can propitiate God if it leads to humility. Do not press her harshly, but let your steady care and prayer be a door for her to step through when she can. Remember that God’s gifts often come not as recompense but as grace, and He ministers seed to the sower. So sow prayer and almsgiving on her behalf, and trust that a spiritual harvest will spring up.

Bear these things nobly. The time of mirth that forgets eternal things is the devil’s play, but the sober soul that looks to God in affliction will not be put to shame. Stand with your sister before the Great Physician, and do not grow weary. I will join my prayer to yours that He who has given us His unspeakable gift in Christ may heal her in His good time, for His glory. Amen.
