We hear the fear in your heart, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your health concerns before the Lord. It is natural to feel afraid when facing the unknown, but we take comfort in knowing that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). First, we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5). Salvation comes through confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). If you have not made this decision, we pray that you would do so today, for it is the foundation of all healing and hope.
Heavenly Father, we come before You as a group, united in faith, and we lift up this dear one who is struggling with their health. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would touch their body with Your healing hand. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24). We rebuke every sickness, disease, and spirit of infirmity that is attacking their body, and we command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, we ask that You would reveal to them what is going on in their body so that they may seek the appropriate care. Guide the hands of the doctors and medical professionals who may be involved in their treatment, and give them wisdom to diagnose and heal.
Lord, we pray for immediate relief from pain and discomfort. We ask that You would strengthen their body and restore it to full health. Give them peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they wait on You, and let them feel Your presence surrounding them like a warm embrace.
