We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, recognizing the pain and anger expressed in this plea. The hurt caused by the destruction of property, theft, and betrayal is real, and we acknowledge the deep wounds these actions have inflicted. However, we must address the spirit behind these words with truth and love, for Scripture warns us about the dangers of harboring bitterness, vengeance, and curses.

First, we must rebuke the desire for retaliation and the language of destruction that has been invoked. The Lord commands us in Romans 12:19-21, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore, 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." The call to curse those who have wronged you is not aligned with the heart of Christ, who prayed for His enemies even as they crucified Him (Luke 23:34). We cannot ask God to act in vengeance while simultaneously claiming to walk in His righteousness.

The mention of occultic groups, witchcraft, and fetishes is deeply concerning. Scripture is clear that these practices are an abomination to the Lord. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 states, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." If you or anyone you know has been involved in these practices, we urge you to repent and renounce them immediately. The power of Jesus Christ is greater than any dark force, and His blood cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7).

We also notice that while the name of Jesus is invoked, the tone of this prayer does not reflect the humility, forgiveness, and trust in God’s justice that He teaches. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Holding onto bitterness and demanding repayment in this manner only harms your own spirit and distances you from the peace that God offers.

Let us pray together in a manner that aligns with God’s will:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened by the pain and injustice that has been described. We ask for Your healing touch to mend the wounds caused by theft, destruction, and betrayal. Lord, we repent on behalf of the anger and desire for vengeance that has been expressed, for we know that vengeance belongs to You alone. Help us to release these burdens into Your hands, trusting that You will repay according to Your perfect justice.

We renounce any involvement with occult practices, witchcraft, or fetishes, and we break every ungodly tie that may have been formed through these things. We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over every power and principality, and we stand firm in His victory on the cross. Cleanse our hearts, Lord, from all bitterness, unforgiveness, and hatred. Fill us with Your love, peace, and the fruit of the Spirit.

Father, we ask for Your protection over this individual and their property. Restore what has been stolen or destroyed, not out of a spirit of greed or entitlement, but so that Your name may be glorified. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory. Surround them with godly community who will support and encourage them in their walk with You.

We pray for those who have caused harm. Soften their hearts, Lord, and lead them to repentance. May they come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ and turn away from their wicked ways. Help us to forgive them as You have forgiven us, and to pray for their redemption rather than their destruction.

Above all, we ask that You draw this individual closer to You. May they find their identity, security, and purpose in Christ alone. Teach them to trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on these Scriptures as you seek healing and restoration:
- Psalm 37:5-6: "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."
- Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."
- Ephesians 4:31-32: "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Surrender your life to Him, repent of your sins, and receive the gift of eternal life. He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We hear the deep pain and frustration in your words, the violation of having your property damaged, stolen, and your sense of safety stripped away feels overwhelming. What happened to you is unjust, and it’s understandable that you’re angry and want those who harmed you to face consequences. We don’t minimize that hurt for a moment.

Yet we’ve found that carrying the heavy load of bitterness and calling down harm on others ends up wounding us most of all. It can consume our thoughts and steal the very peace God wants to give us. God is not indifferent to your suffering; He sees every wrong and promises that He will bring justice in His time and His way. Entrusting your cause to Him doesn’t mean what happened was okay, it means you’re choosing not to let the darkness they brought into your life keep spreading inside your own heart.

One small, practical step might be to sit with the Lord for a few minutes each morning, not rehearsing the list of wrongs, but simply asking Him to soothe the raw edges of your heart and show you a next right move, whether that’s reporting incidents to authorities, securing your property, or just breathing through the rage. You don’t have to rush to a tidy resolution; healing often comes step by step.

Please join us as we pray:
Lord Jesus, we bring this child of Yours before Your throne. You know every detail of the injustice suffered, the fear, the loss. Surround them with Your strong protection, and bring to light what has been hidden. Replace the burning anger with Your steady peace, and give them wisdom for each practical concern. We ask for honest justice, not born of vengeance but of Your righteous love. Sustain them, and let them taste again the blessing of Your presence even in this storm. In Your mighty name, amen.

Your words are full of fire, but it is not the fire of the Holy Spirit. It is a flame kindled from a bitter root, for it seeks the utter destruction of those who have wronged you. Can you stand before God’s own justice with such a prayer? No, you will never make out a good case if you appeal to God’s justice, for Justice will try you, condemn you, and cast you aside. God will not deal with you on those terms. Have you forgotten that you yourself are a sinner in need of mercy? Instead of crying, “Plague them a thousand billion times,” fall on your face and cry, “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Thy lovingkindness; according unto the multitude of Thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.”

You have suffered loss and theft; your property has been damaged; your heart is sore. I do not make light of that. But look to the bleeding Christ, who, when He was reviled, reviled not again. Picture the scene: a suffering Saviour, and enemies gathered about the Cross whereon He dies for them. Yet He prayed, “Father, forgive them.” Can you, who call upon His name, summon down plagues like an Egyptian pharaoh? The justice of God is not at your beck and call to serve your private vengeance. God marks His enemies, and yet He moves not; He stands still, and lets them curse Him, yet is He not wrathful, for He is slow to anger.

You speak of paying back in fire. But there is a payment that has already satisfied Divine Justice in the very highest degree. Jesus’ death manifested that justice. Go with Justice to Gethsemane and see Him whose sweat was blood. Stand with Justice at the cross and behold His dislocated bones, His soul-agonies. Justice itself will say, “I have had my due. It would be unjust to ask for more.” Now, if you are in Christ, Justice is no longer your accuser; it is your defender, for God can be just and the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus. But if you, who have tasted mercy, now demand a justice without mercy upon others, what spirit are you of?

Peter fell grievously, denying his Lord with oaths. What would have become of him if Christ had dealt with him as you wish God to deal with your foes? But Jesus looked upon Peter, and that look of Christ severed Peter from the crowd. He went out and wept bitterly, and was restored. I trust that if any of us have been falling back and especially if we have wandered into sin, we may get such a restoration from the Lord Himself, that we may become better Christians ever afterwards. I do not want you to break a bone, I pray God you never may. But if you persist in this bitter, unforgiving spirit, you will break your own bones and wander far from the peace of Christ.

Am I asking more of you than simple justice demands? How can you better express your gratitude to God than by seeking to strengthen your weak brethren when you have been strengthened yourself? Instead of taking back their belongings, what if you prayed for their conversion? Oh, do not wander. There is no good in it. Do not go away from Jesus. There is no profit to be found there. Come back to Him, there is such peace, such rest with Him. Never, never go away again from the tender heart of the Saviour who forgives. Lay these curses at His feet. Let Him be your advocate, not your avenger.

A just God is saving sinners and taking them to Heaven, not without vindication of His justice, but through the blood of the Lamb. If He has saved you, can you then demand that He damn your enemies for a punctured tyre? The justice of God demands that men should be punished unless they turn to Him with full purpose of heart. But that turning is offered to them as it was to you. Will you not rather say, “Lord, be merciful to me, a sinner,” and leave room for their repentance? The convinced sinner smites his breast and says, “O sinner that I am!” He does not call down fire upon his fellow-sinner.

May the Lord restore your soul from this dark path. May He give you the joy of His salvation, and then you will strengthen your brethren, not curse them. Go, and learn what that means: I will have mercy and not sacrifice. And may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

You come with a heart full of wounds and a tongue afire, crying out for the utter destruction of those who wronged you. The pain of theft, violence, and malice is real, and the cry for justice rises from a soul that has bled. But the fire you call down is not the fire of the Holy Spirit, it is a blaze kindled by the enemy of our souls. When we stand alone, isolated in our bitter thoughts, the devil finds his handle. He caught the woman apart from her husband in the garden, and he seeks you in the lonely wilderness of vengeance. You must not give him that place.

God is not deaf to the deeds of the wicked. He visits upon them fear, affliction, and loss even in this life, and His final judgment is certain. The one who gains by fraud trembles for his children, his property, his very breath. But that judgment belongs to the Lord, not to the hands of those who have suffered. It is not given to us to decree plagues or to seize by force what belongs to another. To demand that marriages, children, and inheritances be snatched away because of your hurt is to step into the seat of the Judge. He will not share that glory with a creature whose rage mimics the accuser.

Consider the blessed Paul. He was dragged about as a prisoner, beaten, reviled, treated worse than a captive of war, yet he did not summon fire from heaven upon his tormentors. Instead, his endurance became a consolation to the churches, a living witness to the one who suffered for us all. Christ our High Priest entered heaven not to rain down curses but to appear in the presence of God for us, offering a sacrifice that makes peace. If He, the innocent one, prayed for His murderers, how can we, who are debtors to mercy, pray for the annihilation of our enemies?

You say you act for righteousness and the prosperity of Christ’s body, but the fruit of our doings grows from a heart that obeys the gospel. That gospel commands, “Bless and do not curse.” It calls you to forgive, that you may be forgiven. To pray for evil upon others is to pollute your own soul and to cut yourself off from the communion of saints, where we uphold one another in the love that bears all things.

Bring your loss before the Lord, yes. Tell Him the whole wound, and ask Him to defend your cause. Then leave the reckoning to His perfect time. Pray that those who hate you may encounter the true Light and be turned from darkness. In that act of faith, you will please God, and the peace that surpasses all anger will guard your heart. That is the path of the righteous, and the well-being you long for flows from that quiet trust, not from the storm of vengeance you have spoken.

I hear the deep pain and frustration in your words. Someone has wronged you severely, and the sense of injustice burns hot. It is natural to cry out when enemies strike, when evil seems to triumph. The Psalms are filled with such raw cries. David, a man who knew betrayal and danger, often poured out his soul before God, asking for deliverance from those who sought his life.

But notice the spirit of David’s prayers. He never made vengeance his personal project. He cried, “Hear, O Lord, and have mercy on me,” and then trusted God to deal with the wicked in His own way and time. When the Ziphites betrayed him, when Doeg slaughtered the priests, David did not take up a sword of curses to destroy them with his own words. He laid the matter before the righteous Judge and said, “He shall reward evil unto my enemies. Cut them off in thy truth.” He left the how and the when to God.

Your request calls for total obliteration of every foe, for you to seize their property, for generations to be stripped because of what you have suffered. That goes far beyond asking for justice. It reveals a heart that is taking God’s role into its own hands. True prayer does not start with my will being done on earth. Jesus taught us to pray, “Our Father, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done.” Prayer flows from relationship and aligns us with God’s purposes. When we are wronged, we come as children asking our Father to act, but we do not command Him to serve our personal revenge.

Remember the men rebuilding the wall with Nehemiah. They faced mockery and threats of attack. What did they do? They prayed unto God and set a watch day and night. They worked with a trowel in one hand and a sword in the other, ready to defend their families, but they did not spend their breath calling down a thousand generations of plagues on their enemies. Their confidence was that the Lord who is great and awesome would fight for them, and He brought the counsel of their enemies to nothing.

Your pain is real, and you have every right to bring it before the Lord. But let me ask you: what if God gave you exactly what you are demanding? What if He dealt with your enemies according to the same measure you now use? The Scripture warns, “Do not say, ‘I will repay evil’; wait for the Lord, and He will save you.” We all need mercy far more than we need to see our enemies crushed. David, in his own desperation, also prayed, “For thy name’s sake, O Lord, pardon my iniquity, for it is great. Look upon my affliction and my pain and forgive all my sins.” He knew his own need of cleansing alongside his cry for help.

So instead of rehearsing elaborate curses and financial claims, I invite you to take a different path. Bring the specific wrongs to your Father. Ask Him to protect you, to right the wrongs, to restore what has been stolen, and to deal with those who harm you according to His wisdom. Then trust Him. Fight for your household, but do so by walking in integrity, not by plundering your enemy’s lineage. The Lord is for you, not against you. He does not need us to force His hand with violent words; He hears the cry of the humble and the broken.

If you have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, then let your prayer begin with that connection: “Father.” Let your first desire be that His name would be honored in your situation. And if you have never truly surrendered to Him, then the only prayer He waits to hear from you is, “God be merciful to me, a sinner.” That opens the door to every other need.

May the Lord be your shield and your very great reward. Leave the judgment to Him, and let His peace guard your heart as you entrust your cause to His hands.
