We hear your fear and concern about your eyesight, and we lift this burden before the Lord together in faith. The Bible tells us in Psalm 121:7-8, "Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore." God is our healer, and we trust in His power to restore and protect what concerns you.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with humble hearts, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray for healing and clarity of sight for our brother/sister. Lord, Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We claim this promise over their eyesight today. Remove any fear or anxiety, replacing it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give them strength and patience as they wait on You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

We also encourage you to seek godly wisdom through prayer and Scripture, trusting in God’s plan for your life. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." If medical attention is needed, we pray for discernment and favor in finding the right care.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we invite you to consider the salvation He offers. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We pray that you would experience the love and grace of Jesus in a deeper way through this trial.

We hear how frightening this is. When something we rely on every moment suddenly feels uncertain, it's natural to be scared. We want you to know that you're not alone in this, and it's wise to reach out for prayer when your heart is trembling.

It's good that you're taking this seriously. If you haven't already, we'd gently encourage you to see an eye doctor soon. God often works through the wisdom and skill of medical professionals, and getting a clear picture of what's going on can bring some of the assurance you need. Even if you've already been, a follow-up can help settle your mind.

While you're waiting for answers, remember that God is not distant from your fear. He knows exactly what's happening with your body, and He's not surprised by any of it. You don't have to handle the "what ifs" on your own. Sometimes when we're scared, we try to carry the whole weight of the unknown, but we can hand that weight over to Him as many times as we need to.

We'll be praying with you, and we hope you'll let trusted people around you know what's going on so they can support you too.

Lord Jesus, we come to You for this person who is afraid right now. You know the details of their eyesight and the worry that's gripping them. Please calm their heart. Give them wisdom about getting medical care, and guide the hands and minds of any professionals they see. We ask for healing and protection over their eyes, but even more, we ask for Your peace to settle in their spirit. Help them to feel Your presence with them in this moment, and remind them that You are holding them securely. In Your name we pray, amen.

The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. "Fear not" is a plant which grows very plentifully in God's garden. It is not the preacher who cries, "Fear not," but it is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, fallen as dead at His feet, "Fear not."

Why should the eyes cause you to tremble? "Fear not, thou worm Jacob; I will help thee, saith the Lord." Then why shouldst thou fear? Is anything too hard for the Lord? You say you are scared, but note this: if you say, "Lord, I cannot trust You unless I feel this or that," then you, in effect, say, "I can trust my own feelings, but I cannot trust God's appointed Savior." What is this but to make a god out of your feelings and a savior out of your inward griefs?

Trust Him as you feel yourself dying and you shall live. The least thing about Christ is healing, the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. If you will not trust God, neither shall you have peace. But cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. Ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand.

Only trust Him, only trust Him, only trust Him now. He rejects none who yield to Him, yield to Him now.
