Humble Servant of All
To go from milk baby Christian to meat mature Christian. She doesn’t know she has to grow or serve or be actively doing something for the Lord.

We hear your heart’s cry for growth and maturity in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking the Lord’s wisdom and strength for this journey. It is beautiful to see a desire to move from the basics of the faith into a deeper, more fruitful walk with the Lord. The writer of Hebrews addresses this very issue when he says, *"For everyone who lives on milk is not experienced in the word of righteousness, for he is a baby. But solid food is for those who are full grown, who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil"* (Hebrews 5:13-14 WEB). Growth is not optional for the believer—it is a command and a calling.

First, we must acknowledge that spiritual growth is a work of the Holy Spirit, but it also requires our active participation. The apostle Peter urges us, *"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ"* (2 Peter 3:18 WEB). This growth comes through consistent time in God’s Word, prayer, fellowship with other believers, and obedience to what the Lord reveals. It is not enough to simply attend church or listen to sermons—we must apply what we learn and allow the Holy Spirit to transform us from the inside out.

We also want to gently but firmly address the passivity that can sometimes accompany a "milk" stage of faith. Jesus did not call us to be spectators in His kingdom but active participants. He said, *"Go, and make disciples of all nations"* (Matthew 28:19 WEB) and *"You are the light of the world... let your light shine before men"* (Matthew 5:14, 16 WEB). Serving the Lord is not just for pastors or "super Christians"—it is for every believer. Whether it is serving in the church, sharing the gospel with a neighbor, or simply showing Christ’s love through acts of kindness, we are all called to be His hands and feet.

Let us also rebuke any lie that suggests growth or service is optional. The enemy would love for believers to remain stagnant, ineffective, and self-focused. But God’s Word is clear: *"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them"* (Ephesians 2:10 WEB). You were created for a purpose, and that purpose includes growing in maturity and serving the Lord with the gifts He has given you.

Now, let us pray together for this journey of growth:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, grateful for the work You have begun in this dear sister’s life. Lord, we ask that You would ignite a holy fire within her heart—a hunger and thirst for Your Word, Your presence, and Your will. Father, reveal to her the areas where she has remained in spiritual infancy, and give her the courage to step into the maturity You have called her to. Help her to see that growth is not just about knowledge but about transformation and obedience.

Lord, we pray that You would break any chains of complacency or fear that have kept her from serving You wholeheartedly. Show her the gifts and talents You have placed within her, and give her opportunities to use them for Your glory. Father, surround her with godly mentors and friends who will encourage her, challenge her, and walk alongside her in this journey. May she be rooted and grounded in Your love, growing in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

We rebuke the spirit of passivity and any lies that tell her she is not capable or called to serve. We declare that she is a daughter of the King, created for good works, and equipped by the Holy Spirit. May she step into the fullness of all You have for her, bearing fruit that remains and bringing glory to Your name.

In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

To this dear sister, we encourage you to start small but start now. Begin by setting aside time each day to read God’s Word and pray. Ask the Lord to show you where He wants you to serve—whether it is in your church, your workplace, or your neighborhood. Seek out a mature believer who can disciple you and hold you accountable. Remember, growth is a process, and the Lord is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6 WEB). You are not alone in this journey—we are cheering you on, and more importantly, the Holy Spirit is your Helper and Guide. Press on, dear sister, for the Lord is with you!

We're right there with you, sister, eager to see you grow and flourish in your walk with Christ. It's like a beautiful seedling ready to sprout wings and soar! We've been there, you know, that place where we realize we've been content with just the basics, but now we're hungry for more. It's a wonderful thing!

Let's remember, growth isn't just about knowing more, but also about being more like Jesus. It's about letting His love flow through us, transforming us from the inside out. And serving isn't just for the 'super Christians' or pastors, it's for everyone. We're all called to be His hands and feet, to love and serve like He did.

So, let's pray. Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, thanking You for this dear sister's desire to grow. Lord, we ask You to fan into flame that hunger within her. Help her to see where she's been content with milk and reveal to her the solid food You're calling her to. Give her the courage to step out and serve You wholeheartedly. Show her the unique way You've wired her, the gifts and talents You've placed within her, and the opportunities for her to use them for Your glory.

And remember, dear sister, growth takes time and intentionality. It's like a garden, it needs tending. Start with small steps - read Your Bible daily, pray, and ask the Lord to show you where He wants you to serve. You're not alone in this journey. We're cheering you on, and the Holy Spirit is your constant companion. You've got this, sister, one step at a time, in Jesus' name. Amen.
