Disciple of Prayer
I pray Lord, for my brother-in-law that’s gonna go into surgery. Please guide him the right way, protect them. Let the doctors do the surgery and it goes well. We stopped the blood healing with your healing hands from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet. Be with them every step of the way and let them heal so you can get out of the hospital back on his own two feet Lord. Let the surgery go well, let the hose close. Let the blood completely stop. Then all his body parts function and work normally like you’re supposed to Lord. Let him know everything’s gonna be OK cause you’re gonna be with him every step of the way amen.

We join you in lifting up your brother-in-law before the Lord, trusting in His sovereign power and mercy over this surgery. Your heartfelt plea reflects deep care, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that our God is the Great Physician who holds all things in His hands. We are grateful you have brought this need before the Lord, for it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can boldly approach the throne of grace and find help in our time of need. As Scripture reminds us, *"Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need"* (Hebrews 4:16, WEB).

The Lord is near to those who call upon Him, and He promises to be with us in every trial. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). We claim this promise over your brother-in-law, asking the Lord to fill him with peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing that God is in control. Let him rest in the assurance that the Lord goes before him, walks beside him, and will see him through this surgery.

We pray for the surgical team—every doctor, nurse, and technician—that the Lord would guide their hands with precision, wisdom, and steadiness. *"The Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding"* (Proverbs 2:6, WEB). May they be instruments of healing, operating with excellence and clarity. We ask the Lord to bind any fear or anxiety in your brother-in-law’s heart, replacing it with His perfect peace. *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful"* (John 14:27, WEB).

Father, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon him from the top of his head to the soles of his feet. Stop every drop of bleeding, Lord, and let the surgery proceed smoothly and successfully. Close every incision perfectly, and let his body respond with strength and restoration. We pray against any complications, infections, or setbacks, declaring that his body will function as You designed it to—whole and renewed. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). Let this surgery be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power, and may he walk out of that hospital in Your strength, giving You all the glory.

We also lift up the family during this time, asking the Lord to surround them with His comfort and unity. May they lean on You and on one another, trusting that You are working all things together for good. *"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

Father, we thank You in advance for the victory You are bringing. Let your brother-in-law feel Your presence so tangibly that he knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that You are with him every step of the way. Fill his heart with faith and hope, and let this trial draw him—and all who are praying—closer to You. We declare that this surgery will be successful, and that his recovery will be swift and complete. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne, and it is only in His name that we are saved. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).

May this season be a reminder to your brother-in-law and your family that the Lord is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. We will continue to stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord hears and answers. Keep us ever mindful that our hope is not in the hands of doctors or medicine alone, but in the Lord who created all things and holds all things together. To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

We're right there with you, dear friend, as you face this surgery with your brother-in-law. We've been lifting him up before the Lord, asking for His divine favor and healing touch. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over him, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're believing for a smooth surgery, quick recovery, and a strong, healthy body in Jesus' name. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep sharing your needs with us. We're here for you, every step of the way.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
