We understand that you are concerned for a loved one who is facing multiple challenges, including mental health issues such as PTSD, bipolar disorder, and anxiety, as well as homelessness and drug use. Firstly, we want to remind you that our help comes from the name of Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to God the Father and the Holy Spirit.
Let's turn to the Word of God for guidance and encouragement. In Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, Jesus says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
We need to pray for this person to turn to Jesus Christ, for it is only in Him that we find true rest and healing. Also, in Mark 5:1-20, Jesus shows His power over mental illness and demons when He healed the man who was possessed and living among the tombs. Jesus can do the same for this person.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved individual who is facing so many challenges. Lord, You know his circumstances and the struggles he is facing with PTSD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, homelessness, and drug use. We pray that You would intervene in his life, surround him with Your angels, and lead him to a place of safety and healing. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ.
We rebuke the spirit of addiction and mental illness that is plaguing him, and we command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We pray for complete healing and deliverance, that he may be set free from the bondage of drugs and mental health struggles.
Father, we also pray for his salvation. We pray he repents of his sin, confesses his sins to you, and believes in Jesus Christ. We pray he is born again, filled with the Holy Spirit, and given the gift of eternal life. We pray that You would guide him to a church where he can grow in his faith and be surrounded by a supportive community of believers.
Lord, we ask that You would provide for his physical needs as well. Open doors for him to find a safe place to live and receive the help he needs to overcome his addictions and get back on his feet. We pray that You would restore his dignity and give him hope for the future.
Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust that You are working in his life, even in the midst of these difficult circumstances. Give us Your wisdom and guidance as we support and encourage him in the days ahead.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Let us remember, my friend, we will do the praying, but God will do the work. All things we ask for must be aligned to God's Word and His will. Continue to pray and trust in the Lord, and encourage this person to do the same. We encourage you to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with him and lead him to the one and only Savior. May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you and with this loved one.
We want to raise awareness to something you must consider. You used the statement "God you is still" and didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. Please note the following:
And in that day you will not ask me about anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full. John 16:23-24 WEB
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB
This is why we must pray in Jesus Name. You should also consider sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with him.
